Saxbys Coffee

Not as advertised. After a long day of pushing papers, I looked forward to a relaxing snack entitled "Party Toast". The toasttab image illustrated a delectable, buttery toast featuring a bright and colorful array of rainbow sprinkles. What landed on the pickup counter was severely lacking in sprinkles. Do I need the sugar? No. But it could've been the only day of sunshine on this otherwise gloomy January day, and I was left in grayscale. I will submit that the drinks were delicious and the atmosphere was divine. I urge others to come, just maybe bring your own sprinkles, to titrate the toast to effect.

Saxbys is a fantastic coffee shop that offers a wide variety of menu options and top-notch service. The baristas are friendly and knowledgeable, and they take pride in crafting delicious beverages. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, making it a great spot for a quick pick-me-up or a leisurely catch-up with friends. The only downside is that the hours of operation are a bit limited, so it would be great if they could extend them for those who want to enjoy the experience for longer.

Really like the atmosphere here, looks like a great work spot, took a little long for the drink but overall I like it! Nice staff. Oddly everyone that's a customer had a Canada goose jacket on.

i’ve never seen a barista or someone of the like, let alone 3 as a unit, with such little sense of urgency before in my life , and i’m a bartender with 2 yrs of barista experience at a different saxbys location lol i was running late and there was no sign of them starting to make my drinks anytime soon so i just grabbed my food and left w.o my drinks lolz

Had no problem ordering and getting my coffee, the place was empty, slow day. I ordered a breakfast burrito and after sitting and waiting for 5 minutes with only my coffee in hand I asked about my burrito and I’m guessing the two girls who were so caught up in the conversation they forgot to make my burrito. I was just sitting there with my mask on and my coffee obviously waiting for something but literally no one would make eye contact with me. Ontop of that a lady came in after me and she made a mobile order and they didn’t make that either. Neither of us got an apology for their lack of focus any consideration. Starbucks is faster and they’re nicer.

Unlike my many previous experiences at this location, I was v. disappointed and annoyed. This past week I ordered a bacon,egg,cheese on toast twice. I didn't get the mayo I asked for either time, nor the butter I requested the first time. When I did get butter the second time it was v.little. Also, the sandwich portions were much less than before. I am definitely not going back.

It took them almost 20 minutes for a sliced not toasted bagel with a side of cream cheese. I left without the food, so who knows how long it actually took.

I want to give you a 5, but I'm confused as to why you simplified your menu. The Snickers is my favorite drink, and I didn't know whether or not I could order it! The service is fast and friendly and the overall appearance is clean and orderly. It's a great location for students to sit and do work while sipping coffee. I definitely think it's rivals Starbucks on taste.

I am giving this place a 5 star review because of my amazing barista Celia! She was so attentive and gave the absolute best recommendations when I was unsure of what to get. The coffee she made me was one of the best I have ever had. I will be returning because of her and only her!! Thanks again Saxby's Celia!

Emily is a great host, and represents the cafe perfectly! The staff were all fun and easy going. Seemed like they get along great! The cafe is a great place to go and get some work done, there are plenty of outlets scattered around!
