Scaff's Branford IGA

Have been coming to this store for years. Great little grocery store to shop at. Pretty decent pricing and friendly staff. I especially like their meat sale that has pick 5 for $19.99 and they also have a similar produce sale which is pick 5 for $9.99.

I've known of Scaff's IGA a little less than 5 yrs. now. After the change in ownership the quality took a turn downward. Some/many of the specialty and one-off items are difficult to get, if they are available. However they did keep up with one of IGA's habits, keeping local produce, ect. The folks are good, friendly, courteousand most will do whatever they can to be of help.

The store is always clean and the staff is always friendly. In fact, there are a few employees that I'm always genuinely happy to see. They have good deals on some items, like hamburger and other meats. Their selection is more varied than Dollar General Market (their only direct local competition). However, many times you have to travel between the stores to find all the things you want at a decent price.

Friendly staff. Pretty good prepared food. For a small town grocery, it has what you need.

Prices keep changing, always going up, but not the employees fault. They're always friendly and courtious.
