Scarborough 24 Hr Automatic Car Wash

This place has self service spray bays where you can select which soap or wax you want to use. This is perfect for 4 wheelers on a trailer and any other thing you might need to wash down for that matter. Only wish the 24 hour automatic wash had a monthly unlimited plan.

In the Greater Portland area, it’s one of the better automatic, “touchless” car washes you’ll find, and that’s mainly because it offers fairly decent price points for its three available wash cycles. Be that as it may, if you choose any cycle other than the basic level wash, you’re wasting your money and your time because a thirty second “triple foam polish” and a two-minute “spot-free rinse” does not a cleaner car make. It will make a sap out of you, however.

I have been coming here to wash my vehicles since I've moved to Maine a few months ago. Came today washed my car paid for the Super wash but all the soap didn't come off and it was shorter than usual. I wasn't going to say anything just get quarters and rinse off and go. I saw some gentleman outside and decided to tell them not expecting anything for free, I told who seemed to be the owner and he told me to go through again the second time worked and it was very nice to do that for me! I will be back.

First time I came here, the $19 wash didn't rinse my car and left it covered in suds. I called the service number and the man explained that the wash had malfunctioned, but it was fixed now, and gave me a refund. As he should. Went back a few days later to give it another try. The $19 super plus wash left spots all over my car. This is the exact same touch free wash as the one at Big Apple on Western Ave. In South Portland, only that one is $5 cheaper, and doesn't leave water spots. Seriously disappointed with the cost and quality of the wash.

Lotsa soap on the soapy brush, which was clean. A bit pricey at $1 a minute in the pressure-wash bay, & I wish the sign had mentioned the max charge on the credit card; I would have planned the timing better & avoided the $4 minimum needed to complete the rinse.

Car wash was very good. With very salty and sandy conditions now I believe this wash is safer for the car. I would like an unlimited program too.

This touchless car wash is utterly useless. We had a fresh bird poop, as in a bird pooped on our car not 20 minutes before we arrived at the car wash. We purchased the most expensive option, not only did it not clean it off, but it doesn't even clean the light dirt on the side of our car. We are literally never coming here again and this is a waste of all money. Don't go here if you want a clean car, end of story.

5 stars cause this place is awesome! Wish they would bring back the wax really did great keeping the sand from job sites off my truck.

Always went here 1x a week to use the self service wash b/c their auto machine isn't that great. I put in extra quarters to get more than the standard time. $3.75 gets you 5 minutes. Know it like that back of my hand. Today while switching from soap brush to rinse, the machine completely turned off on me while I still had half my time left. I fiddled around with the knob trying to get it back on. After failing to do so, I noticed that there was a guy detailing a car. I assume this is the owner since his black truck is the one always there. I try to tell him what happened , but he was automatically rude and accused me of lying and saying I ran out of time. "Timers don't lie,"- he said. I tried again to explain what happened and he interrupted again saying "You only get 4 minutes!" He then went into his office, got some quarter and said , "see there it works." For some odd reason, I decided to go back the next week and the same thing happened after 1 minute. I drove off with soap on my car and went to Sparkle clean down the rd....much better there! This owner is rude,rude rude. Don't go here
