First off I'd like to say we have been shopping at Scheels for several years now and paying the higher prices has never been an issue because the high quality of merchandise. Here's the reason for the low rating. My family recently made a large purchase at the Minot store which included boots, hats, coats... In just one day I had to return a pair of gloves that was supposed to be water proof. By day 3 of my purchase I had to return my coat I paid over $200 for I washed it once on cold and when I pulled it out of the washer the entire coat insert had unravelled. I exchanged the coat for the same brand just a little different because the one I bought was now out of stock. 3 hours later I returned the coat I had previously got that day from the exchange. The inside of the liner was shedding everywhere. When I took it back to the store to explain what was happening the associate tells me I should take the coat home to wash it and that should keep the coat from falling apart. I received a full return that I'm happy about but also disappointed that I didn't get the purchase I wanted.

Got a great deal on a basketball hoop and I also love their clothes I’ve gotten a lot of stuff for a low price here

It's a good store but a little bit pricey. Employees are very HELPFUL.
