The Scheels IcePlex is a great place for ice skating or playing hockey. Also, it’s nice that they have plenty of stabilizers for young skaters who are just learning. My only complaint is that I wish open skate was done more frequently; it commonly falls during school hours thus making it hard for school-age children to attend. Attending hockey games here is very nice but make sure you bring a blanket to sit on because the whole stadium area can be pretty cold.

Went for the curling introduction. Well taught. Fun. Call ahead for your appt. Kid friendly. A few people went on their own. About an hour and a half ish.

Wonderful place for budding hockey players and just going as a family to open skate time. Very busy happy place!!

This is a very impressive facility for all ice activities. Lots of space, including in the lobby. Their concession stand has a lot of selection and not expensive, and if I remember correctly the skate rental doesn't cost very much either, maybe a few dollars. Everything is very modern and clean, and decently warm in the stands when watching a game.

WHAT A VENUE!.. We enjoyed the motorcycle ballet on ice!.. warm, clean, and accommodating... We would go again!..
