I was so impressed with Dr. Scheer and his staff. He listened to my concerns, discussed my x-rays with me, and will follow up after I have physical therapy. I was so pleased with how quickly I was able to schedule my appointments and how helpful everyone was.
Dr Scheer is awesome. I usually don’t write reviews but wanted to give him a shout out. I tore my ACL and meniscus...not a fun thing to do. Surgery went well. I am very happy I found Dr Scheer, he did a great job reconstructing my torn ligaments. He is extremely knowledgeable and very kind. He made me feel comfortable in an uncomfortable situation. I can’t recommend him enough. He answered any questions I had with patience and professionalism. My overall experience with him and his staff have been great!
Not happy the way this practice is more concerned over billing insurance companies than their patient's well being. Last week I went in for both a shoulder AND hip issue. I was only seen for my shoulder and neck region. When I asked if they would also be taking x-rays of my hip, the technician said Dr. Mark Scheer doesn't like to focus on multiple areas of the body in one day, that I'd need to come back. Even Dr. Scheer said, don't let me forget about the hip next time you come. What kind of remark is that? Why should I have to make a follow up appointment to be seen for an area I had initially listed on my patient form as being an area of concern and discomfort? Moreover, I as the patient shouldn't have to remind him or any doctor to focus on my hip next time around. To put the icing on the cake, this morning I called the office to obtain the results for my blood work and was told I'd need to come to see the doctor in order to be given my test results. They do not give out test results over the phone. I've never been told to come in to obtain test results. Therefore, this and all other repeat visits are just a ploy for them to continue billing the insurance companies. Sad to see that it's all about the money and not the patient's well being at this practice. It's no wonder their practice is so nicely renovated. Time to look elsewhere for a practice that truly cares about me as a patient.
Dr. Scheer is great! Unfortunately the office is horrible! I called 3-4 times just to book an appointment and each time got the answering service during business hours and was assured someone would call me back to schedule the appointment and that NEVER happened! When I finally got an appointment the Dr. was great! Fast forward to trying to get physical therapy...I had to call at least 2-3 times over a two day period to schedule an appointment because the phone kept going to voicemail and again no one would call me back and the front desk refused to schedule the appointment for the therapy office. When I finally got someone....there was a 2.5 week wait!! That is unacceptable considering you are seeing patients that need immediate therapy. I wasted 3 days trying to make an appointment just to end up getting a next day appointment with another facility around the corner. I saw another orthopedic doctor around the corner a few years ago and experienced a much better overall office experience and against my better judgement I honestly should have gone back there but wanted to try the experience of a bigger newer practice. I will be going back to my former ortho doctor from now on.
Dr. Mark Scheer is an excellent orthopedic doctor I have ever met. I had a catastrophic fall in 2015. I was searching for a good orthopedic doctor. I had three orthopedic doctors during this terrible ordeal. However, I was blessed to find Dr. Scheer. I can see the concern and sincerity he give me everytime I visit his office for an appointment. Dr. Scheer is such an wonderful doctor. He is and will continue to be my orthopedic doctor forever. Thank God.
All four members of our family have been under the excellent care of Dr. Mark Scheer for some 10-15 years and all have been healed from reoccurring injuries resulting from tennis, baseball, falls, and work posture hand issues due to his superb counseling and advice. We all have experienced Dr. Scheer's has a great rapport with patients. We are also mindful of his superb diagnostic abilities and his good humor. His understanding of the role of patience and healing that he imbues in those in his care provides a great counterpoint to those of us who would "hurry things" too soon. One can not get better care. I've been seeing Dr. Scheer since 2014. Nothing but praise for him. He is a wonderful person who is humble and truly listens to his patients, a very rare quality in medicine. He just exudes a carining and compasionate attitude coupled with professionalism and knowledge and great surgical competence. I am so grateful to have found him. He did my rotator cuff surgery three years ago and just yesterday, arthroscopic knee repair of a torn meniscus and degenerative joint issues. The shoulder surgery was excelent and no problems since then. II am expecting great results from my knee surgery. I recommend him highly!
Dr Sheer is an amazing practitioner. I would refer anyone to his practice. Very kind , considerate and reassuring and a great Dr. Takes his time, answers all your questions and is very empathetic.
Best Orthopedic Doctors in area. Customized treatment. Surgery is an option but not the only solution. Been seeing this practice since 2008.
I just want to share my person opinion about the bad customer service the ladies at the front desk are giving to the patients very , very rude . I know these times are not the best times but they should treat their patients more kindly and respectfully
