I had a very unfortunate terrible first experience here. I was looking for an item that they did not have in stock at the store, but they ordered it for me from their warehouse. When it came in it was the wrong item, and I was the one that noticed.. they did not. They offered to order and ship it direct to my house and I was told it would be within the week. Nothing showed up and i did not get a confirmation email as I was told I would. I called to find out where it was and i was told it was out for delivery the following Thursday. So I waited yet another week, only for nothing to show up. I called yet again and was told another week. At this point I was very frustrated. The manager had no explanation why it kept being put out a week. I called the head office customer service, and after being passed off to someone else, I was finally told it was back-ordered from the manufacturer and would be another two weeks. The frustration escalated. I then called the store again to cancel my order (this was Friday) and I said I'd be in Monday for my refund, which I was told would not be a problem. Monday at noon I went in for my refund and the associate working was not aware of the situation and told me the manager had gone on vacation and would be back the following Tuesday. She did find my order but it was showing a refund already processed (which I certainly haven't received). She took note and had the assistant manager call me later that day, but I had to leave the store yet again with no refund and no product. I was told on the phone later by the assistant manager that I could come back for my refund and she had all my paperwork for the order. WHAT A RUNAROUND!
The most frustrating thing about this all is that we just found out that this store sells products for children with special needs and were excited that we could find some things we were looking for. We unfortunately will not be shopping here now, at least definitely not at the Kitchener location. EXTREMELY unprofessional, specifically from the manager.

Bought a couple things for the baby room and jeroldine was very nice and informative. I think we should shop there more often to encourage surplus of demand locally.

I went to this store on Christmas Eve to buy some Christmas gifts for my son (granted 5 minutes before it closes). I was told that she had the deposit ready to the bank, and did not want to sell me any toys...You would think that you would do an excpetion for kids on Christmas eve, but it seems that having deposits ready for the bank is more important than a kid receiving a toy...that's the impression I was left with...Luckily ToysRUs was open, and they were willing to take my money and sell me toys for my kids...so if you are in a hurry don't even bother to go here

Knowledge, helpful and friendly staff. Nancy, Ashley, and the team here have always gone the extra. They've made sure I've been satisfied with what I've found or purchased, have always asked for feedback on how they can improve or what they can do differently, and have always put things aside for me and/or contacted me when the occasion has called for it.
*More French resources then in past years...but there could always be more 😊

I always go in here with beg plans, but come out with only a few items. For what they sell, I think they need a store twice as big. I don't want to order much of their stuff without seeing it, so online doesn't work. But the in store selection is definitely limited. However, they are always super friendly and have stuff you can't find anywhere else.
