I can't say enough about the quality and expertise the owner and staff at Scholz Rebar has displayed over past three decades I have been part of this industry. I have heard from countless home owners and contractors who have had nothing but great experiences with their design, consulting and installation of pool structural rebar. They make the process of building a pool seamless and easy. I would not hesitate to refer and recommend them to anyone considering building a new swimming pool in the Phoenix metro and surrounding areas.

We contracted them to install our pool rebar. The installation was great. The crew spoke good English and was easy to communicate with. The reason for the 2 star rating is when the crew left they backed into my temporary construction plumbing stack and ran over my water meter box. This broke the stack and crushed the pipe coming off the meter. They would have known as they shut the valve at the meter to stop the spraying water. I had to contact them about the damage and I feel it should have been the other way around. When I did speak with them they just defended the crew and stated someone would call me to resolve it and no one did. This is the 5th pool I’ve used them for and it will be the last.

I would highly recommend Scholz Rebar to anyone looking to build their own pool. The company was wonderful to work with. Their office staff was friendly and the guys that did the work were courteous and made sure to clean up before they left.

Discussed our pool plans with Robert, agreed on layout of rebar, then Robert took off, leaving 2 non-English speaking workers to complete the job. When the job was "done," I found that they didn't follow the layout discussed or the engineering plans that should have been clear-cut. I notified Robert immediately Thursday, and Robert said he would come out to take a look at it. I texted Robert that I was available Monday. He said he or his boss the company owner would come out Tuesday morning. I waited around all Tuesday with the dogs inside. By 11:00, hadn't heard from them so I called their office. After explaining my complaints to the receptionist, she said Robert was there in the office and the owner was in a meeting. I then spoke to Robert, tried to tell him how his crew didn't follow the plans as discussed, but he cut me off, telling me "we discussed where things would go." Eventually, I was able to tell him "yes, it was your workers that didn't follow what we discussed." Robert immediately assumed I was wrong, and that his workers did the right thing, before even seeing the work performed. Robert was rude, defensive, and assumed his workers didn't make a mistake. Robert never came out to inspect the job when it was completed. I would not recommend this company to anyone in need of profession or skilled rebar work.

Very rude. Never once have they been friendly on the phone. They also DO NOT accept credit cards and don’t inform you of that until after the work is done. Very inconvenient!! Plenty of other rebar companies who will be nice and make it more convenient for the customer.
