Schumacher's has been family-owned & operated in the Greater New Orleans area since 1852. We focus on customer service while we supply the highest quality of goods in the industry. Our 3 on-site monogram machines allow us to fill orders while-you-wait and we are centrally located in the CBD of Metairie, LA. We are 1/2 block off of Veterans Blvd. and 3 blocks from Lakeside Shopping Center, with over 75 exclusive parking spaces available all year long. We offer a 10% discount to participating schools and an unmatched shoe guarantee. Medical uniforms are also now available with a 10% - 20% discount opportunity on every purchase.

Great experience. I walked in the first time only knowing I needed a smock for my daughter and not even knowing what a smock is. They were well staffed for us last minute shoppers and were able to get me everything that I needed.

Have shopped here for uniforms for over 18 years! While the faces of the sales clerks may change, the service is always consistently excellent! A well-disciplined, knowledgeable staff!
Very organized and friendly staff. They also do school embroidery, if you decided not to buy their uniforms shirts there.
A tab bit higher in price than some other shops. They also did not have the shirts logoed you had to wait approx 2weeks Maybe bad timing to go here but local in my neighborhood so there's always that convience!
Lines long around beginning of school as usual. Other than that it’s easier to order online, then pick up in store if you know the sizes you need.
Schumacher's is a smaller uniform store, but you get personalized service. If they don't have an item in stock, they will order it with a quick turnaround time.
The best quality uniforms. You may pay a lot more, but you simply cannot beat the quality of the uniforms you recieve. The uniforms last an ENTIRE school year. I've been purchasing from here for the last 7 years and have a other 8 years to go. Customer service is great also!!!
Always great service. Higher quality uniforms than other shops Inka's. It's not self serve, so wait times can be long during the weeks before school begins. Their website allows for easy online ordering as well.
