Schutte Lumber Company

I have a construction business and know how it is when it comes to the public. My first interaction with this place was amazing. I drive 320 miles to just look at their inventory. I then spent over 500 dollars in their store The sales team gave me great turnaround on the estimate. I tell them we will be back up here to pick up this order on September 15 or the following week. We call and say we’re not coming the 15 th and will be there the 22 nd. we get on the road and are over half way there 145 miles of a 325 mile trip and get told we can’t sell to you you have to order it from a Meeks store. I tell them after all this you have a choice of selling it to me or losing an 11,000 dollar order. There is more that I am not saying After all poor communication and poor customer service. I would not recommend this business in anyway shape or form. Hopefully no one else gets this treatment either.

Exactly what I needed. Called to double check was in stock went down a couple hours later and picked it up. Everyone went above and beyond to make sure I got the right product and was extremely helpful and accommodating.

Very disappointed with the Customer Service. Bought a 24x8 wood and have them custom cut. They said turn around time is 3 days. I call to confirm every day as I am tight with my schedule. Its never ready when I call. They said my sales person Christian will call me if its ready. 3rd day, 4th day - no phone call! 5th day is a Sunday- THEY ARE CLOSED :- Monday, I will no longer have any assistant to help me. So disappointed. I will never buy from them again.

Absolutely fantastic location to get wood for any project or any level wood worker. The selection is absolutely incredible. Pricing is very competitive for both hardwoods and dimensional lumber. Great source for an average wood worker or professional.

My go to! Always professional, friendly and knowledgable of their offerings. I even watch the "Tommy Talks" on social media. Keep em' going.

From one local small KC business to another, Schutte Lumber was amazing in helping us with what I'm sure is a very small order for them. I worked with Pete in sales who was patient and helped us find exactly what we needed for out job. Marvin just delivered our order and went above and beyond and was just the nicest. Inventory is a little spotty due to the pandemic, but otherwise great selection for wood workers. The folks working here are amazing too. Knowledgable, friendly and they give me space when I just need to browse materials and prices.

Vast amount of all size wood. They will even cut to the size you need.

Icalled on Tuesday and asked if they carried 4/4 sapele. the sales person said yes, So I drove 2.5hrs to buy some. When I asked about it, I was told it was 3/4; and that's all they carry! 60$ of fuel, and 5hrs down the drain! I'll go back to Austin Hardwoods in Denver. At least they know what they sell!

Great customer service. Great selection of lumber. Every time I go there Pete helps me with what I need. From lumber to Festool tools they have great products.
