My boyfriend always brings his suits and dress shirts for dry cleaning and tailoring to Schwartz Tailoring. I recently brought a dress that needed quite a lot of modifications. It was about two whole dress sizes larger than my actual size. They did all the adjustments necessary for the dress, charged a very reasonable price considering the amount of work that needed to be done and had it all ready in 1 week. Needless to say, I am super happy with the tailoring service! If you want top notch tailoring services for a good price and done in a reasonable amount of time, bring your clothes here. :

I have brought my suits and dress shirts here for the past 6 months and have always been happy with their tailoring and dry cleaning service. The owner is a really lovely person, hardworking and does quality work. I’ve been to a lot of tailors over the last years and this is the BEST place that I’ve been to and will continue to be going here for tailoring of my suits. If you’re looking for a place that does quality tailoring, I HIGHLY recommend that you come here!

I really don’t recommend this place ! I have been going to this place from long time with the old owner & he was a wonderful person with such a great knowledge in his expertise of being tailor. I tried with this new owner once they took over & I always had issue of things not fitting the way it supposed so I stopped going & recently I gave her another chance & took my black velvet evening dress & I asked her to shorten a bit & I had the right shoes also but when I wore it the heel of my shoes was catching the lining of the dress as I was walking so I really didn’t enjoy my dress for the evening & when I went back to let her know she got mad & start saying in her language with a mix of English to her husband that I am a difficult Customer every time. Instead she should say to bring it & let me look at it but she was bad mouthing me in front of my face . What a great customer service she has . Please think twice before going here .

I have worked with tailors highly recommended by friends throughout the DMV, but the best tailors -- Miss Joy and her team at Schwartz Tailoring -- have come to my attention on the recommendation of people in the industry. Schwartz Tailoring has completely revitalized my wardrobe and unlocked all the potential of a closet full of existing clothing. Suddenly, a closet half filled with beloved pieces too large or too long has been transformed into an arsenal of quick-to-the-hand and out-the-door-fast outfits that take me from the office to the theater day after day. Miss Joy knowns exactly how a trouser leg should break, depending on the style of the trouser and the weight of the material, and she deftly remakes shirts and jackets with simple adjustments to elongate the torso and bring proportion and balance to the shape of the body. Her husband is a genius at sourcing materials for repairs, her assistant has a keen eye and nimble fingers, and Miss Joy is a master of good judgment, attention to detail, and commitment to deadlines. I would trust Schwartz Tailoring with anything -- they always come through with tailoring that exceeds even high expectations.

Came to this place because of the high rating. Had a bag that needed the lining sewed back and I wasn’t sure if that would be possible since it’s leather so I wasn’t surprised when they couldn’t do it. However I also had a dress that had some stains. The stains weren’t too dark at all but there were a bunch of them so I just wanted to get it dry cleaned and see what they can do. I got a very hard no purely because the dress is silk. I appreciate the owner wanting to be upfront about managing expectations but I took it to a different place who told me they would try and that they work on silk since it’s a dry cleaners job to work on delicate fabrics. I’m very confused about why this place didn’t but I wouldn’t take anything here that is delicate. Three stars because I never went through with anything but I was disappointed with such a high rating.

I’m visiting this place quite long time and if I could give it more stars I’d definitely do that. I appreciate her, her name is Joy. She’s diligent and her works are usually neat and clean. The price is also reasonable and she does sometimes some extra sweet things like little repairs here and there that is not included in the price. Thank you so much!

I brought my wedding suit here and they did excellent work at reasonable prices. I was so happy to get fitted perfectly. Highly recommended.

Schwartz Tailoring saved me! I had a bridesmaid dress that had no extra fabric and due to it’s intricacy we couldn’t add fabric. They worked so creatively with me to come up with a solution in which the bows from the straps were used as a tie closure and the zipper hook was lowered. The dress was ready in 3 weeks, fit perfectly, and I got so many compliments it actually looks better than before! This is the only place I will go for tailoring needs, the price was fantastic and they are so kind and welcoming. Thank you, Schwartz Tailoring!
