Schweiger Dermatology - Upper East Side

Hannah really makes me feel so comfortable every time I visit. She listens to my problems and tries to find a solution that’s best for me and my skin type. She’s the first dermatologist I’ve officially been to and I can honestly say she makes me feel more and more confident every time I leave her office

Very disappointing experience. I’ve never had to deal with so many frustrations with any healthcare provider like Schweiger Dermatology. - I tried to schedule my first appointment with them and I got redirected at least 5 times in the span of one week. Many times, they told me they would send a message out to one of the PAs, but I would never get a response back and my appointment would never get scheduled - finally I go to my first appointments in one of their park avenue office. It felt very rushed and you get very little facetime with the actual doctor. + I go to a separate doctor at a separate office- Dr. K at the UES location. This visit actually went well. Dr. K is a good doc. Upon leaving, I tried to schedule my follow up third appointment with the front desk person. She was blatantly rude. She had a really condescending attitude when I told her that her first time suggestion could not work for me. - after finally getting my third appointment scheduled back at the UES location, upon visiting the office a week later, the office was closed. And note - the Online Portal Klara had confirmed the appointment the night before. When I tried to call their live support, they told me that another office would call back to see what the next available option would be. They never did. Final point: This place suuuucks. The only reason this review has any stars was because Dr. K was genuinely a good doctor. Other than that, don’t bother. The rest of your experience will leave you very disappointed :

The Staff & Physicians are caring, attentive & resourceful. I felt seen & heard about my concerns. I’ve also never waited long in the waiting room. Best Dermatology facility I’ve been to. It’s also conveniently located near transportation.

Very pleasant Dr. No wait time the Dr listen to my problem and immediately took actions she even called me when my lab work back, they're the best keep up the good work

Great experience! Office very clean, I was running late and still was allowed to see the Dr., no long wait times, staff was pleasant/courteous, the Dr. was thorough and happy to assist with my issue. Will recommend!

This place is not really a dermatology office. It’s more like a cosmetology office. I booked an appointment online expecting to meet Dr. K. Instead I met with the nurse and the P.A. who both seemed very inexperienced. I felt so awkward and rushed during the consultation. When the consultation was over I asked the receptionist why I never met with the doctor. She said he’s very popular and you have to call the office directly to book and appointment with him. I now have to find an actual dermatologist because I felt this was a waste of time and I couldn’t fully discuss other concerns I have about my skin.

The doctors and staff are friendly on the UES. However, I went last year in November to get a referral for an ultrasound, and finally got it done this summer. The lab sent the results to Schweiger and referred me to Schweiger to have them read. Schweiger had no idea what was going on and I had to call multiple times to ask to see if they had gotten my ultrasound, to see if the person who referred me originally could read it, or if I had to get another appointment to get my results read to me. After a lot of back and forth I was told that no, my initial referral visit was too long ago fine, and then they didn't know if they had my ultrasound on file, and then that my initial practitioner didn't have the credentials to read the ultrasound, so they'd have to find another person to read it. They offered me an appointment with a nurse practitioner but they couldn't guarantee that they'd have the credentials to read my ultrasound. It was just a big roundabout for no reason. I am still waiting for someone to call me back and let me know if they've found someone who can read it.

Staff very pleasant and professional in explaining what they were going to do. I was completely at ease with their professional and manner of treating me. I have no qualms about visiting them in the future.

I’ve been to many different Schweiger Dermatology locations in NYC. Every Dr & PA have always been super helpful

NP Basile was very patient with my anxieties about my condition and explained the treatment plan to me while feilding my questions. She communicated both knowledge and compassion. The receptionist at the front desk was excellent as well. Nice environment. All in all, I felt very seen and taken care of. Thank you!
