The food here is amazing. My husband and I each ordered a savory crepe and shared a sweet crepe. Everything was above and beyond what I expected. The chef really took his time in preparation and everything looked amazing and tasted even better.
Amazing service !! Everyone was extremely sweet and personable. QuaSheba was really nice and asked each individual member of my party about their experience. She also remembers repeat customers by name! The gelato and crepes tasted amazing. I’ll definitely be returning. This place needs to be on every tourist attraction list for Memphis.
This place is amazing! I seek out crepes wherever I go and Scoops did not disappoint!! Sweet and savory crepes were wonderful with great, bold flavors! The owner is very welcoming and sweet herself! Highly recommend!!!
Me and my kid are huge fans of this place! The savory crepes are so good and you can get soup, salad or chips with that. The sweet crepes like the Shelby with strawberries and nutella are my favorite. I've definitely tried the gelato and it is really good. The staff is so fun and friendly and I love that the place is kid friendly bc my kid loves the crepes.
Very first food review that I did when I started food reviewing. The crepes are wonderful, Gelato is nice, and the parlor itself is decorated in a Memphis theme. I love the owners and staff. A must try for those who haven't!
I dined in at Scoops Parlor for the Memphis' Black Restaurant Week and it's really hard to say which was better, the food or the service! Immediately upon entering the doors, the entire Scoops' staff greeted me with a warm welcome and smile. After being seated, QuaSheba, thoroughly went over the menu and shared her favorites, making it a little easier to place my order Everything sounded so delicious, it was hard to order!. Throughout my dining experience, the staff continued to check on me to ensure that I was having a pleasurable dining experience and even acknowledged me by name! The Greeline Crêpe is an excellent choice, seasoned by THE GODS!!!! Long story short, my experience at Scoops was so amazing that I went a second time in the same week and brought my friends along who all were really blown away by the amazing food and service as well!
I like the idea and want to support something local but it was overpriced. Even compared to other local ice cream places in various cities the serving for the price was very small. I only got the ice cream though. Perhaps their gelato, crepes, or other offerings are more fairly priced. Employees were super nice.

YES! I love this place. Let me count the ways... It's important to point out that this is not just a gelato joint. They have food as well. Great food at that! In addition to a wide range of gelato flavors, Scoops has crepes that you can eat sweet with gelato or with meat. The meats include chicken and steak. The non-sweet fillers are spinach, artichoke, olives, onions, bell peppers, mushrooms, as well as cheese: cheddar; mozzarella; Colby jack, cream. The sweet fillers are Nutella, bananas, raspberries, mangoes, blueberries, and strawberries. You can also choose which drizzle and/or sprinkles you want on your crepe or gelato. Drizzles range from ranch dressing to caramel. Sprinkles range from powdered sugar to bacon bits, salt and pepper. The price of your crepe depends upon how many fillers, sprinkles and/or meats you put in your wrap. They also have soup, salad, soda and water. There's not a lot of seating and I imagine that's because people walking around South Main might grab gelato up front to-go. I'm sure this spot will be a HUGE HIT in the hot Memphis summer. Now let's talk about the FOOD!!!! Literally EVERY BITE was beyond scrumptious. I'm so excited Scoops is bringing its flair to South Main. I will be back again and again and again!
