SCORE Mentors, Fox Cities

We started with SCORE when we began our own small business back in 2016 with very little knowledge of how to go about starting a business! We both were business majors but the finer points of running our own business were very foreign to us! The SCORE team met with us right away and from the first day reviewing our mission of teaching softball and life skills to females in the area, the team was supportive, encouraging, and EXTREMELY informational. Working with our SCORE mentor has taught us how to wear every single hat in our business. Thru the SCORE we have found direction for ALL business functions including payroll, marketing, taxes, the hiring process, asset management, legal questions, sustainable grown, planning, and many other things. The SCORE does not simply give us a quick answer, they are extremely thorough and have encouraged us to understand the functions and processes of all of aspects of our business, versus just outsourcing tasks. There is just no way we would be where we are today in our 3rd year of business experiencing rapid growth without our SCORE mentor.
