Went here with my spouse, who is into all things stationery. They've got a boutique, make their own stationery vibe going in there. I walked around, met the shop dog Hazel, and marveled at an antique probably 100+ years old press that appeared to still be in use right in the front. A guy walked out, greeted me, and we exchanged pleasantries. He then walked me through his process of typesetting on an invitation using that antique, foot cranked press. He tinkered with the letter setting, getting it perfectly centered, then spread ink on the inkplate, and did the beginning steps of the invitation right there. It was pretty cool. Legit experience. Check it out.

We had an elegant, black tie wedding which we felt deserved an elegant, formal, thick cardstock invitation. We knew this wouldn't be cheap as far as invitations go but we were alright with that. We decided to go with Scriptura based on reviews and the reputation they have in New Orleans. Everything started fine. The initial consult, picking things out, etc. Then.....it didn't. Their delivery was late. They shorted us 3 main invitations but had the proper number of inserts. The worst part was that they COMPLETELY MESSED UP THE ENVELOPE LINERS, which was just a simple map of New Orleans. Anyone who looked at a passing glance would notice this. Their solution? Give us 10% back for what was wayyyyy more than a 10% mess up. We still haven't received the final 3 invitations almost 6 months later after reaching out numerous times to attain them.

I'm so happy to have found Scriptura! I had to cancel my wedding, but wanted to order a small run of invitations for a celebratory dinner. Dave at Scriptura was more than happy to oblige, despite my tiny project. Our invites are gorgeous and we're absolutely thrilled with the finished product. Scriptura's designers created a custom monogram for us that we're using on a stationary order. I look forward to working with them for future events and life milestones--they have the cutest shower and announcement designs too! Thank you, Dave and Sallie--you two are such a pleasure to work with!

We have purchased our wedding thank you cards, our Christmas cards, and gifts for family from Scriptura. Every single item has been excellent quality and their customer service cannot be beat. We will continue to shop with Scriptura for years to come.

A very nice joint to buy paper and writing instruments. I like Rhodia and Filofax products and they stock them. Both locations are nice but the magazine st location is hard for parking, but is in a hip location and worth hanging around for a little sightseeing.

Called frlm WV to see if I could get a gift certificate for my sister there in New Orleans. A beautifully handwritten certificate was hand delivered! What great service!

I had a wonderful experience using Scriptura as my vendor for our save the dates, invitations, and thank you cards. I worked primarily with Sallie at the Uptown location and would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone scheduling an appointment. She was patient, she understood my often inexact descriptions and requests, and she was incredibly knowledgeable about the process and product selections. Throughout each store visit Uptown and Metairie, email, and proof review, Sallie and the Scriptura crew's attentive service was worth every penny, and I couldn't be happier with my beautiful wedding suite.

A little price, but they have good stuff. Unfortunately, the stationary pad I was looking at used non-fountain pen friendly paper, so there wasn't really anything for me, but pretty nice things if you like paper, journals, and writing supplies.

Had a good time shopping for some late Christmas presents, they were nice enough to even wrap them for us. Great, quality shop.
