SEA: The Thai Experience

Story

SEA: The Thai Experience joined the culinary lineup at Bally’s Las Vegas in October of 2010, since then it has been pleasing guest daily with its unique take on Asian fusion cuisine. SEA is open for lunch and dinner with space available for private functions.

SEA (being an acronym for South East Asia) opened its first location in Brooklyn, New York in 2002. Its sleek modern design made it the perfect backdrop for films such as Garden State and the popular television series Sex and the City. After seven successful years in Brooklyn, SEA opened a second location in the
Meat Packing District, quickly becoming a favorite dining location for many New Yorkers.

Now making itself known to Las Vegas Thai restaurant aficionados, SEA: The Thai Experience offers guests a fresh, exotic destination where they can enjoy the flavorful taste of Thai food and the aroma of Asian spices within the relaxing ambiance of the Bangkok-inspired modern design.

The diverse menu offers guests a variety of specialty Thai and Vietnamese dishes including grilled lemongrass chicken, tamarind whole fish, classic pork chop, volcanic chicken (served flambe!) and pineapple curry duck.

To complete the dining experience, guests can pair their entrées with unique Thai beers, choose from a brilliant wine selection, or select from SEA's very own specialty cocktails such as the Suwanmalee (a Thai lychee martini), or the Sakuntala (SEA’s signature pomegranate mojito). Guest can also satisfy their sweet tooth with SEA's unique selection of seasonal desserts, featuring the crowd pleasing Golden Banana Roll, a crisp "spring roll" stuffed with sliced banana and cheesecake.

SEA: The Thai Experience is located next to Bally’s Steakhouse inside the Bally's Casino on the fabulous Las Vegas Strip. For reservations, please call 702-967-3888.

My wife and I visited Las Vegas recently and wanted to have good Thai food but were unsure of any good restaurants on the strip that would satisfy our cravings. After researching online and walking into Bally's resort we decided to give it a try. Our food was delicious and plentiful. Service was top notch. We will be back.
Overall good food and prices when using Groupon. No lunch or happy hour deals. Most entrees are $22 or $29 for shrimp or duck. Appetizers around $10-15. We've been here twice and the service wasn't good both times. The waiters really don't say anything nor care. The atmosphere is pretty decent with a water area in the center. Dark and no windows otherwise. I recommend if you enjoy Thai food. The sauteed green entree wasn't good but the lettuce wraps were better than PF Chang's and the drunken noodles were great. Duck is worth getting.
Great Date Night at Sea Vegas. I decided to take my wife out for date night and I chose Sea. We are from Brooklyn and have frequented the original restaurant so we expected a good time. Our servers were super friendly and very attentive to us. The food was flavorful and well prepared. Portions were great as well. I also purchased a Groupon for $45 which helped with the bill. It was worth every cent. I would most definitely recommend Sea for an intimate date night, fun with friends or a family occasion.
The ambience is excellent. The quality of food is not as good as one would expect. Disappointing for asian palettes. But might be good for someone trying out Thai/Viet cuisine. Price seems to he disproportional to the quality.
Excellent! Look at this dish!! This place goes all out for a great dining experience minus the smoke you must walk through to get there. The staff was very nice and friendly. Also, this is a Southwest Rapid Rewards restaurant. So, good food and triple points works for me. Walnut fried rice was lit !!
We had Asian and Green curry, Basil fried rice, chicken satey. Everything was authentic and best for taste. Few things to note: steamed rice is not complimentory, prices are high as compared to other Thai restaurants around. Ambience is amazing . Best service.
This is some of the best Thai food I have had. Love the ambiance and seating. Very friendly service, flavorable, fresh, fulfilling food. I had the Pineapple & Ginger saute dish w/ chicken and a side of jasmine rice.
Food was authentic. Thai and Vietnamese. Papaya salad was good and crunchy. Chicken satay was good. Chicken curry was great with thai rice. Tofu and egg plant and glass noodles with giant shrimp, Short ribs and pork ribs fried rice were good too. Mango sticky rice to top off...yum. Friendly staff was nice and attentive. Gem in Bally's if you like authentic food. Rsvp is good. We used open table.
Great ambiance and seating and close proximity to the strip. Good vegetarian options. Recommend coconut spring rolls and Rama the Curry. Thai iced tea is really good too. Dinner for two is around 100$.
We had a wonderful evening and a delicious meal. This was a great choice for our Valentine's Date. We started with crab wonton soup and lettuce wraps. Both were delicious. For the main course, we ordered a rich seafood noodle dish, our servers favorite meal, and sautéed vegetables and chicken in a ginger garlic sauce. These were outstanding, but the environment was delightful. We were seated in a beautiful spot next to water, which made it a relaxing and romantic meal.
