Great place to hang out and walk around. It would be nice though if they more restaurants and shops open. With the Seaport Museum currently closed, it would be great if this city had a big waterfront Maritime Museum. But I love the Christmas tree and menorah they put up every year
So nice to walk around or just to relax on a bench to read a book. It has a lovely combination of the city life and the peaceful atmosphere of the sea. Great to take toddlers for a walk too!
Hidden gem. Old and charming historic district. Nice place to go to restaurants. Just a bit sad that 10 Corso Como and other nice places are closing.
It used to cater to more people then it does now...NYC is now almost for one caliber of people. South street seaport used to be fun. There aren't any more shops or eateries for most working folks unless your making more towards 6 figures but you can always bring your own, lounge and take in the views.
Forgot how nice it is to stroll by the water. Great area to watch the boats and people. Good for a day out. A lot of boat tours to choose also.
