Seared

The entrees are great! I had lamb and my partner had pan seared salmon. We got there at 6pm on Friday night, room has been filling up by 7 pm. Very crowded, a little difficult to getting in and out of the seat. The appetizers are just okay, chips are warm but the dip is too spicy. Smoked salmon is very homey style. Skip the Appetizer I would suggest, just get some bread. Desert is surprisedly good! Must to try their German childcare cake, covered by dry coconuts and nuts!

Absolutely delicious meal and romantic atmosphere. My love and I went on a date here for the first time and it delivered big time. Service was amazing. Nice girl greeted us and took us to our table we had reservations at 9pm on July 30th. Our server was outstanding. He walked us through several specials and described dishes to us. She and I split the house made chips and salsa, split the French onion soup, and then split the Fillet De Boeuf with a red wine demi-glaze, side of roasted redskin potatoes, Brussel sprouts, and sautéed mushrooms. Wow, the entire meal was delicious. The chips were warm and fresh and salsa had a delicious flavor with back end bite. And the bite was very nice if you like spice. The soup was amazing. Warm and soothing, gooey from the cheese and delicious. The main course was the best. They split the 5oz for us in the back and both sides were so tender and flavorful from that red wine demi glaze. Steak melts in your mouth. I highly recommend a MR to M cook temp. Brussel sprouts had slivers of bacon and salted to perfection. OMG they were amazing. Roasted potatoes were crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. Total check $55.00 I also had a NA Heineken 0.0. Don't miss out if you are in the Albuquerque area. Priced amazingly, staffed with excellence, and ran by a chef who has perfected his/her craft.

Found this gem tonight - if ever visiting Albuquerque, it is a must visit. My husband and I agreed the best dessert mantecado we ever had! American cuisine, bonus patio music vibes …and incredible service with a Devine menu in a laid back space

Good restaurant. We were pleasantly surprised with our food. Crossing my fingers that Seared does well in Albuquerque’s food scene. The ribeye was incredibly tasty as was our lobster bisque.

The server wasn’t the most efficient, slow service, but he was friendly and polite. The cocktail was unimpressive in both presentation and flavor. The spicy hummus and the salad were scrumptious. The filet de boeuf was pretty tasty, the portion was swell however, the scalloped potatoes were not that delicious and a bit much. Quality over quantity. The German chocolate cake was moist and very delicious, but personally I’d get plain chocolate cake without the coconut-pecan frosting if ever offered. It’s much too sweet for my palate.

My husband and I loved our anniversary dinner at Seared. We requested to sit on the patio and were accommodated as requested. We shared the mussels and salmon crudo as appetizers with a bottle of suggested white wine. The mussels with chorizo were amongst the most delicious we have ever had. For dinner we opted for both specials, on this night a prime rib and a branzino. Both were cooked to perfection. We shared the churro dessert with 20 year port-absolutely glorious. We can't wait to return. A wonderful evening. I'm so full and happy

Wed. 1/25/2023 @5PM. First time visit to Seared Bistro, located in historic "Old Town" Albuquerque, New Mexico. Party of 4 ppl and we were ALL ready-to-eat! Reservations are recommended and for THIS evening Wednesday they were quick and easy! This business is not difficult to find, but because of the location at an exit of a traffic 'roundabout' near Rio Grande & Central, AND that it's not a sprawling restaurant, you MAY drive right past it as I did. Using your GPS will get you there easily! Our Super Server, Christopher, was friendly, knowledgeable, professional and VERY attentive! Superb! HE made our very enjoyable time at Seared Bistro fly by! Three hours there felt more like ONE! Awesome! I'd read many online Reviews of Seared Bistro and felt I knew what to expect when we arrived. The Service and Menu lineup were even MORE impressive in-person! I observed two Servers SKILLFULLY do the work of 5 or 6 Servers! The coziness and interior design of Seared Bistro is both charming and relaxing! BTW, on THIS evening the "Sides" included a Creamed Corn creation that was absolutely aMAZING!! WOWzerr!! For ALL dessert fans, the "Poached Pear w/ Ice Cream" offering got RAVE REVIEWS from my guests!! U Must Try!! Five Star ABQ Dining Experience!

So I stopped in to try seared on my way back from snowboarding and wow I was impressed with everything ! Chris was my waiter and he just killed every part of my “experience” ! From coaching me through the entire menu to explaining things I didn’t know about, Chris just pulled out the red carpet and laid it down like any professional should. Pork chop was awesome, the app was amazing and so was the salad! From start to finish my dining experience was perfect! Chris is an amazing addition to any team and you all should consider yourself lucky to have him on working for you! Kudos seared bistro, and kudos Chris for making my experience amazing! I’ll definitely be back for more great food and great customer service! Best, James T

An absolutely incredible experience. The food was delicious all around no matter what was ordered everything had amazing taste and flavor. Service by Christopher was awesome as he had great suggestions and pairings for our entrees as well with an incredibly welcoming attitude. Great atmosphere and just great everything! Highly recommend and definitely coming back!

Started with an appetizer of spicy hummus which was one of the best I have had the privilege of having. Next was french onion soup my grandfather, and ex-chef, makes these every Christmas. This was on par if not better than his. My meal was a rack of lamb. It was great, however it has been a minute since I had lamb. Finally I had the poached pear, this was exceptional. Our waiter, Christopher, recommended a very sweet white wine to compliment this. This changed the entire feel of it. They met and exceeded every expectation I had. I reccomend Christopher and this restaurant more than anything I've had in Albuquerque.
