My first post with 1 star was made in error.  Our Sears technician provided the best service possible!!  After inspecting our dishwasher he recalled that some time ago there was a recall on the $250 part that was needed.  He spent over 30 minutes on the phone with his dispatch and the manufacturer to confirm the recall and eventually was able to get the part for us at no charge.  It was very late in day and I'm sure he missed his dinner, and he could have just not mentioned it and gome home for the day.  But he made the call & stayed on the phone until everything was settled.  EXCELLENT SERVICE!!

This was the third time in one month that Sears came out to service our fridge. As usual, they were late. Time frame was 1-5.  He arrived at 6:30pm. The service tech was nice and seemed very knowledgeable. He assured us it was fixed this time.  It is still not fixed. We have another appointment scheduled for later this week.

Secured an appointment within a few days of my call.  Timing and updates were exactly as described, and the repairman was able to fix our dryer then and there.  Total cost to repair my 16-year old dryer which had a problem caused by user error was $169 - hundreds less than a new dryer would have been .  The whole process was easy and seamless.  I would absolutely use Sears again!
