The customer service on the phones was horrific and after being on the phone with them for 45 minutes being bounced here and there with no one knowing what to do I was sent to the store. The lady manager said that she was not able to print my receipt but the man did not understand why she was saying that and quickly printed and got us ik n out way. I only give this rating a 5 because of him.

If i could give a 0 stars, I would. Bought a wedding ring set, and within the first year, had to take it back 5 times for repairs. Finally had had enough, and was given a number to call as I was told that they can't replace the set. Three different numbers later, a month of calling to hear, "You will get a call within 72 hours",and then being told that the store manager is not responding to the emails and it's their decision....Let's just say that they will never get my business again. Shame as they used to be reputable and sell good merchandise.
The staff was not the nicest, seemed like the guy hated his job at the checkout, got over charged, check receipt right away, I didn't, clearance prices are good. My daughter pointed out what appeared to be blood on a display matress, and not a little bit that was hard to see. Pretty run down place
They had my items in stock! Sales staff very friendly and willing to help any way they could. I purchased craftsmen again. Last lawn edger lasted 12 years. I'm satisfied!
Tried calling 6 times during lunch on a Wednesday, which is a slower time according to the website. I tried different departments. No one answered. I ended up just going in after no luck with the phone to swap out a shirt that was too small that had been gifted to me. After discovering that they only had two people working there, the woman at the counter returned the shirt and said, “Well, I just hit the wrong button. I can’t give you a gift card so you will have to call the person who gave it to you and get the money from them.” No apology and no offers to fix it. I am done with Sears.
So my fiance and I were in this store shopping for a mattress for our apartment. We are young. But none the less we were wanting to buy a good mattress. As we were trying different mattresses the lady attendant was extremely rude to us saying "actual customers were wanting to look at the higher end mattresses and that we needed to leave." I could not have been more offended at the poor service there. Just because we are young does not mean we can not be treated as an actual customer and told to leave just because we were trying out the mattresses. I will never return
Absolute worst return policy of any store. I bought a coat at the end of September but it wasn't cold enough to wear until October 31st. I put it on, way too big, I must have grabbed the wrong size. I went to return/exchange it...but because it was 33 days since purchase 3 days beyond their 30 day policy they wouldn't allow me to return or exchange it. No discussion, no leniency, no apologies either. Well, I won't be returning to Sears!
Very poor customer service. I would not recommend Sears to anyone. Got the run around for two days on the time a technician would arrive to fix a dryer we bought from Sears 9 months ago. The technician never showed up and the 4 customer service people we spoke to on the phone all said the technician was on his way. One customer service rep tried telling us that he had already been to our home. Another one confirmed that their was a note in their system that the technician was not able to make it. We are highly disappointed with the quality of service we were given as customers and on our appliance.
I am soooo sick and tired of the sales associates forgetting to remove the ink security tag from purchased items. Someone needs to write a program into their check out software that doesn't let the sale proceed without verifying that the tag is removed. A simple fix and much better customer service. I'm pretty much done with Sears.
