My external drive of 10 years started acting up on a Monday. By Wednesday it would not even mount. I was packed and called Secure Data Recovery and spoke with Scot McMacken. He went over the entire process with me, got my information and immediately sent me a link to start the process. I was able to restore my drive on my own, but Scott took the time to follow up with me the next day to see if I still needed his help. I very much appreciated it and will call again if I find myself in the same boat.
Two external hard drives failed with absolutely priceless pictures on them. Scott explained the process, empathized with my losses, and helped me to begin the process of data recovery. I contacted Scott McMacken, knowing that my drive was possibly doa, but still with a little hope maybe it could be revived. But no luck. Scott was very responsive on all aspects. My hard drive died on me two years ago. There were a lot of my photos on there. So I put it in a box hoping for someday to bring it back to life. I sent in my hard drive for the evaluation. The drive was broken but the data was recoverable. The price they quote me was not cheap. But Chris worked with me and we were able to come to a more affordable fee. I am now browsing through my pictures I've lost two years ago and is pretty happy. I want to thank Chris and the SDR people for their help recovering something that were irreplaceable.
