See's Candies

I was here a few weeks ago and have since been to a few other sees and this is by far the best. I should have written her name down she had a slight accent but the customer advice here was so much better than elsewhere. They’ll let you sample if your unsure which sampling helped me buy more so it’s a win win and she was just way more cheerful in her demeanor than employees at other locations. Customer service is a dying art.

Sees chocolates has been around since 1921. I've only been eating them for 70 years. They are the best chocolates you can buy. Since I was a little child they've always had a couple pound box under my Christmas tree. A tradition that I would never give up.

I have fond memories from childhood of going to Sees in Portland Maine with my grandmother when I spent summers with her. The checkers floor,the delectable smell of the chocolate and the white uniforms, left a wonderful impression . Now, in Portland Oregon, I enjoy the sweets at holidays. Shannon and Heidi made my visit extra special. They are professional and sure know the chocolates! They told me this was the 100 anniversary and showed me the 'retro" wrap, so cool! Wonderful store with wonderful employees! Thank you

At other See's stores I sometimes discover that the wrong candy is in my bag when I open it milk instead of dark, or a candy grabbed from the wrong box. That's never happened at this location. Staff are personable, too, even during a peak purchasing time when the line is longer.

Walking into a See's Candies is a nostalgic and visually satisfying experience. Then comes the fun of picking out your sweet from a varied selection sure to please everyone. I was sad to find this location out of milk bordeaux but that's not uncommon, it's easy to find something else delicious! Found this location to have a friendly, helpful staff and the clean, pure uniformity you expect from See's.

The staff are extremely friendly, allowing tasting for everyone. I should say it is a See’s candies outlet with good discount.

We love Sees and always go here for any special treat. The staff is always very helpful, attentive and sweet. They have delicious nutty/ caramel chocolates to soft centered goodness. You truly can't go wrong with any one of their many options. The workers are always generous with samples, so you always feel pleased with your order. Wether you want a few for yourself or want it as a gift, they have the perfect thing. I have always loved Sees chocolates, their kind staff, and also the fun holiday options they provide as well.

Chocolate. I love chocolate, so they get 3 stars for fulfilling that niche. The quality of the chocolate is about what you’d expect for corporate 50s era chocolate. OK. But, as a corporate chocolate store, the 50s era costumes are kitschy at best. Antiquated really. The world of chocolatier arts has grown exponentially in recent history past 20 years. It’s time to ditch the 50s and come into the 21st century.
