Seize the Clay is a creative studio specializing in Painting Pottery, Mosaics, Glass Fusion, Silver Clay Jewelry and Kids Birthday Parties. We are also the only pottery studio in Memphis to offer Clay Classes every Sunday. Every Friday from 6p-10p is Wine and Cheese Night. Customers can bring wine and glasses and we provide snacks. Wine and Cheese Night has a half priced studio fee (regularly $7)! Each month we host a Glass Fusing workshop. We also host Cookertainment once a month on Friday nights! Stop in today!



"Seize the Clay is an art studio specializing in Pottery Painting, Clay Classes, Glass Fusing, and Canvas Painting. Childrens Birthday Parties and Summer art camps are great for the kids. Wine and Cheese Night on Friday evenings is a great way for adults to start the weekend. Private pottery classes make for a great date night or anniversary gift. Custom painting is a specialty of ours. Our artist will be happy to customize any piece in the studio just about any way you would like. We offer team building activities and school field trips both in the studio and on location. Walk ins for pottery painting are always welcome."

So much fun here! Had a great time creating with our group! Great vibes and super amazing to see all of the final results The prices are a big steep but well worth it, I would definitely do it again and again!
Had an amazing time here with my co-workers for a Team Building event: a fun idea and a fantastic place. There were many items to choose from at reasonable prices. The studio was comfortable, clean, and relaxed. Ms. Peggy worked with us. She was helpful, kind, and friendly. I can’t wait to do this w/my Hubby as it seems like a great date idea. So excited to see my finished little MasterPiece I highly recommend ‍ this place/experience.
We love seize the clay! Such a welcoming and creative environment. It’s more than just clay, they have many different crafting options. Every time we go we experience something new and different with seasonal and rotating pottery selection for glazing.
Looking for a creative outlet?! This place is awesome. You pick out the pottery, paint and you get to take it home or work on it there. Extremely helpful staff with a great selection of pottery. They even pack up the glazing paint for you. I highly recommend this place.
So much fun!!! A great place to be creative and have fun. You can go by yourself or with a friend, they have plenty of choices for pottery and amazing paint colors. My friend and I had the place to ourselves Tuesday afternoon so that was very nice. Would definitely recommend can't wait to see what my piece looks like after it's kilned.
Seize the clay is a great place to go by yourself, with a friend or as a group. I've had 3 birthday get togethers there. The staff is very nice and helpful. You pick your piece from a large selection of pottery, pick your paints and sit and paint your piece. I've been several times with friends and we have a blast painting and talking. Kids would enjoy it too. You've got to give it a try.
We had so much fun playing with Clay. Definitely going back.
We had a great time on date night. We brought a bottle of wine and made a few pieces. It's a great way to start or end a date!
We love Seize the Clay. We even just go as adults to have a drink and paint pottery. The staff is so sweet and the studio is always in great shape.
Have taken ceramic classes and it was so much fun! Staff is great, also!
