Select Event Group

Wonderful experience working with Debra. I went to the showroom and she helped me choose the linens for my wedding. It was overwhelming and she helped me narrow some options down. We were able to put them on some tables in the showroom with the place setting so I knew exactly what it would look like. Linens were delivered and beautiful for cocktail hour and ceremony. Very professional and responsive. Great company to work with for any table needs!

We used Select Event group for glassware and linens that our caterer did not have. I had a very specific color scheme and style that was hard to find. But Select Event group had so many options that checked all the boxes! So thankful they had exactly what I was looking for.

We had to make a rather last minute decision to tent our wedding reception due to low temperatures, and our wedding looked better than I could have ever dreamt it could come together. It was beautiful and everyone was in awe over the sheer beauty.

Terrible Experience with this company. I was out with my wife celebrating our anniversary this weekend when we come back to our car in DC and see two Select Event Group trucks blocking our vehicle off of 9th Street in DC near the convention center. One was double parked and we asked politely how long where they going to be there. Just a minute more was said; 30 minutes later I asked the crew boss to move the truck so we could leave and he cursed at us and told us he wouldn't move the trucks. I said it would take only a few seconds to move up so we could go and he told us to get F'd. So I called DC police to help resolve the situation. This did not have to turn out this way, especially for a local company. Update- Select Event Group ownership and management took amazing corrective actions and reached out in a professional way, that is refreshing to get from a company in 2022. Very happy with the response and service. My negative experience should not happen in the future due to these changes. Update 7/23/22- Select helped out with a friends wedding providing dance floors and linens for the tables! Everything was beautiful and the service was exceptional. Thanks for all you did to turn a bad experience into one that people will remember for a lifetime.

Our linens, chairs, glassware, flatware, plates and everything else we rented from Select Event Group were gorgeous and those little details really amped up our rustic venue! Their selection was fantastic and wide as well when we went to pick everything out!

I tried calling this place this morning 08/17/2022 for a tent rental. The young lady that answered was not helpful when I asked her. She stated there is not account manager that was there to help me. Instead of her taking my name and number she told me I needed to go online and fill out the contact forms. My event is in 24 hrs and online states " if your event is in 24hrs please call our office" which I did and I was not helped.

I'm a wedding planner, and Select Event Group provided tenting, lighting, and rentals for one of my recent weddings. They were wonderful! They were easy to work with leading up to the wedding, very quick to respond to change requests, and highly professional on the setup day. The team had to work with challenging setup conditions onsite, but they got everything done beautifully and on time. I love working with Select, and I look forward to our next event together.

Overall, pretty good service. They did say we lost a few things, which we dispute, but they never charged us for them so it didn’t really matter. The selection was good and our tables looked really nice. I see them as more of a high-end rental company, and if we weren’t receiving a discount, we might not have ordered through them. They delivered to the venue and picked up from the venue for a nominal fee.

Select Event Group ROCKS! I called them in a panic 2 days before my sons wedding with a tent catastrophe! Select came to the rescue with super service. I would recommend them to anyone.

Susan was great to work with and the brown wood chivari chairs arrived on time and were beautiful! Will definitely use again.
