Very clean place every time I go to get my income taxes done every year. Also, the people are super friendly.

The Northfield Senior Center is NOT an assisted living facility (the other reviewer may be confusing it with the Northfield Retirement Center). The Senior Center is a place where you can truly engage your mind, body and spirit. It has a multitude of fitness offerings, including a warm-water pool (plus jacuzzi and sauna), a complete fitness center with cardio and weight machines, ping-pong, biking, garden cub, cards, dance, etc. It also offers tons of life-learning classes, from computers to hands-on art, has an affordable café, an art gallery, and beautiful gardens. It also offers plenty of ways to engage socially — either casually, in the common areas, or through various "clubs". Staff and other members are courteous and friendly — always ready with a welcome. I'm 59 and I just love going there. You can join at age 50 and membership fees are ridiculously affordable — about a dollar a day. Wow!
