Seoul Restaurant

Our new “go to” authentic Korean restaurant : we ordered the spicy kimchi stew, gimbap, and grilled croaker. Prices are very fair for the portions you receive and quality of food. The banchan was included in our order and everything tasted very fresh. The market side of the establishment has a variety of teas, instant noodles, and a fridge and freezer section. Not a whole lot of options for grocery, but fun to poke around while you wait on your food. The ladies running the shop were very polite as well as friendly - one gave us a small plate of fresh melon for free : The entrance and sign could use some love, but it has character as is.

ISO AUTHENTIC Korean. Like someone's Korean grandma that cooks with the heart! Which is who greeted us in this very casual market and restaurant adventure . While I waited for my SPC army daughter, was stationed in Korea I ventured into the specialty market. A trip into Korean cuisine. I felt I was definitely in another country. I had my heart set on pork belly as I saw they had on the menu. Unfortunately we have to cook it tabletop ourselves. As a chef myself, I go out to be cooked for so I ordered spicy Squid. It satisfied my traveling craving search for Korean grandma's cooking. My children's favorite is still the competition down the block which I detoured from because I wanted the elusive pork belly. My coffee was cold and instant. I'd definitely shop here for the necessary specialty ingredients when I put on my Korean chef's hat!

This place is perfect for dinner with friends and has a cheap and great selection of teas. The lady serving us was very nice and welcomed us even 30ish minutes before closingFood: 5/5

This place is a complete gem. We had such a good time. The food and service is EXCELLENT. We had beef bulgogi, great, home style. Deaji bulgogi, again fantastic very homie. Kalbi, who doesn’t love a food kalbi. This one in particular pairs well with the banchan. Oh the banchan was THE BEST. So many, really nice. None to over powering. We also had the seafood pancake. Great. Fluffy, not greasy. And the star of the show, naengmyeon, who doesn’t love naengmyeon? I’m excited to go back again.

It was very small but the food was good. Eating in a convenient store can suck you in to try all the different Korean snacks.Food: 5/5

Took awhile for the main dish to be cooked, but the kimchi pancake with pork came in moderate time. They are going to bring up tips when paying, but the service was excellent.

Our favorite Korean restaurant. The owners are great, the food is great and we love the simple atmosphere!

Had the rib soup. I went a couple times. I had no issues before. I loved the soup. It’s authentic compared to most. However, I went again recently, and the lady was giving me attitude on the check out desk when I simply respond to her when she swiped my card and ask, “how much are u tipping”. I told her that “I do not want the tip charged in my card” I was going to ensure that there’s a tip left of the table before I leave - in cash. She started to fuss at me. So I decided to take my card and just walk out 2 stars, don’t want to have to deal with someone demanding and fussing about TIPs

Best korean restaurant in town .. the staff is very nice the cook even changed some of the ingredients bc of my diet..Food: 5/5
