Kelly was such an amazing support to my husband and I before and during the birth of our daughter. She was a great help in assisting us with creating a birth plan and provided us with resources and support leading up to birth. Kelly was there with us through a long labor and was positive and calming throughout. Kelly was helpful in providing support and suggestions during labor that made all the difference in our experience and I am so thankful she was with us. Can’t recommend enough!

Kelly helped me and my partner tremendously as we navigated my first pregnancy. Kelly is warm and easy to connect with. I was comfortable with her immediately. Leading up to the birth, Kelly was so responsive to my questions and concerns, she texted me back within minutes each time. Kelly was so encouraging and supportive during the birth. She was calm and soothing and that helped us be more calm too. I can’t imagine not having her there. My birth went really quickly and having someone there who knew me and my birth plan helped slow things down so that I could make decisions about medication, interventions, etc. My partner was especially appreciative to have the extra support and coaching so that he could participate during the birth. Finally, I really appreciated having another set of eyes at the birth. I was so out of it that I couldn’t remember exactly what happened. Kelly took pictures of the birth and she was able to recount the events to me so that I could process the experience more easily.

Kelly is an absolute lifesaver. Hands down worth every penny and more! My husband even said hiring Kelly was the best thing we did. Kelly was supportive throughout my whole pregnancy following up with our weekly ultrasounds. My birth did not go as expected with a sudden induction at 36 weeks. Kelly was right there with a phone call, a super informative e-Mail and all the support. Kelly even stopped by the hospital during the beginning of the induction before labor started. She brought me protein drink that I had requested, got me set up on the tens init absolute life-saver and gave so much emotional support. When labor started Kelly was right there. Kelly was always doing exactly what I needed whether giving me ice chips, rubbing my back, putting a wash cloth on me, or encouraging me. My husband and I cannot thank you enough for all that you did. I couldn’t have brought baby Addie to this world without you! If you want the best doula, then hire Kelly!

Hiring Kelly as our doula was the best decision we made during my pregnancy. This was my first pregnancy, and things got off to a rocky start for me with providers...although the third practice I went to turned out to be great, the experience with the first two left me with so much anxiety and negativity that I felt totally afraid and unprepared to deliver my baby. Then we found Kelly and she helped me regain my confidence and stop feeling so anxious, which also helped my husband who was very worried about things by then, too. Kelly was so supportive of my goals and feelings, and helped us formulate a plan we felt good about. She also helped me feel prepared for possible surprises, which wound up happening in the end. I labored for close to 34 hours, and Kelly was with us for more than 24 of them she was in close contact with me the whole time, checking in every hour or two, until I needed her to be there. Her emotional and physical support were totally invaluable during labor, for both me and my husband. She helped me with literally everything while I was in labor, suggesting different positions and exercises to move things along, asking specific questions of the l&d nurses when I needed help focusing, physically supporting me while I pushed, and providing much needed support to my husband the whole time. She is kind and knowledgeable with a good sense of humor, and I don't know how we would have gotten through this without her.

Absolutely amazing! Kelly was everything we could have wanted in a doula. She is well educated, loving, and was the perfect complement for me and my husband during our labor. Kelly was willing to work with us on our intended birth preferences and helped us to ask the right questions and make the necessary considerations during our pregnancy, labor, and delivery. We trusted her fully and knew we could count on her to be there and assist us through the process. While my natural labor was difficult at times, it was made easier by Kelly's calming presence. We felt confident in all the decisions we made during our labor and ended the day with a beautiful, healthy baby girl. We could not have been happier with Kelly. Highly recommended!

Having Kelly there at the birth of our daughter made a world of difference. She was attentive, knowledgeable, calming, and supportive to both me and my husband throughout my long labor. At the hospital, it was often just the three of us in the room, and Kelly provided a calming presence and helped us understand what to expect. From the initial birth plan visit through labor and afterward, Kelly answered my many questions and helped me understand my options. She even provided a birth letter during her postpartum visit that details my birth experience and includes some things I had forgotten! I can’t say enough positive things about Kelly’s professionalism and caring demeanor.

I can’t imagine our birth experience without Kelly. Kelly was a constant resource and support in the weeks leading up to, during and after my delivery. My husband and I planned to have a natural birth but almost nothing went according to plan. Kelly was a calming presence for both of us and a wonderful companion throughout a long labor. She helped us think through options and provided hands-on support as needed. A huge help during contractions! In the hectic early weeks of motherhood she continued to be a great source of knowledge and encouragement. She also sent us a letter detailing our birth experience - a lovely way to preserve this memory! Kelly has such a positive, peaceful and loving spirit. My husband and I are so grateful we had Kelly by our side throughout our birth experience. I highly recommend having a doula at your birth, and I highly recommend Kelly!

Kelly radiates calm positivity and was a great partner throughout my pregnancy and birth. Whatever twists or turns, she always equipped me with the best information and supported me in processing the next steps. She new what we needed before we did, even showing up with coffee for my husband at the 5 am mark mid-labor. Feel so lucky to have found her!!

If you're contemplating hiring a doula, do it. Kelly is invaluable and provided an unbelievable amount of support for us. My birth was more difficult than I expected but thankfully I look back on the experience positively in large part because of Kelly. I don't know if I'd feel the same way about my labor and delivery without her calm presence. It felt so right to have her on my team giving me the comfort and strength of all the women including her! who have gone before me.

My husband and I both agree that hiring Kelly was the best investment of our money. She took great care to listen to all my concerns and worries, was available to talk and help me through pregnancy, and provided both my husband and I with a wealth of knowledge and support that helped us get through my labor exactly how I wanted even with other circumstances out of our control. I will always be grateful for her and her services and have such a positive birth story to reflect on because of her help!
