Serenity Hair Salon

My 2 bridesmaids and I went to Serenity Hair Salon for my wedding and they were great!. Kelley was super easy to work with. I booked the appointment 7 months in advance with a deposit and worked out with her how much time would be needed for the original plan of 4 girls. Kelley was great about checking in on if hair was curly or long to estimate time and reserved 2 stylists for us to make sure we were done in time. I checked in again a few weeks before and everything was set and Kelley said the stylists had even agreed to come in an hour before their normal working hours if we wanted to get an early start to make sure we were done on time. Thank you Cindy and Anna! The week of the wedding one of my bridesmaids got covid and couldn't come, but I let Kelley know and she was fine with that and we could keep our early time and she reduced the price so we wouldn't be paying for the girl who couldn't come. Needless to say we finished with time to spare which made it a much more relaxing wedding morning. It was super nice of them to seat the 3 of us together so we could all talk while they did our hair and we could see each other getting their hair done they didn't mind if we turned our heads while they worked. VERY DISAPPOINTED!! took my son to get his hair done, he chose it grey. I have seen kids other kids with gray hair and I thought it looks good on them. To my surprise his hair ended up blonde with even more dark blonde patches on it. I explained to them that it wasn't gray at all, that it was blonde not gray. They argued with me that it was gray and that's how his hair it was supposed to be. I really think that they don't know what they're doing when it comes to hair coloring and bleaching. It took them 5 hours for these results

I had an appointment with Anna for a cut and color consultation. She did a great job on the cut, but she insisted I get a quick color service my hair was so bad I think it bothered her and she just couldn't leave it alone haha. I really appreciate that she was so assertive, because I didn't think I was going to have time for any color service before a trip and I was so happy she made it look amazing.

Shirley is MY GIRL! She is very kind, caring and welcoming! Even when she's fully booked with appointments, she will try her best to accommodate your availability. I've had some complications with my lashes but she ALWAYS looks out for me. Hence why, I always choose her for my lash care. Prices are very reasonable especially for the quality! & Her reclining chair is so COMFY, it'll make you sleep lol! so, if you need a lash tech, I totally recommend her! Shirley, you're the BEST! I'll keep recommending you to everyone.

Updating my review & rating - 03/01/20. Had my hair ruined after going for my usual roots touch up. The man who was doing the touch up insisted that it was the same color I had though my color is dark blonde / light brown and he used COPPER on me. When it became obvious that color is completely off, they tried to fix it and had colored over it the same day. It didn't help, so I had to leave with maroon roots. Hugely disappointed and upset because now I have 3 chemical treatments in 2 days and moreover, I will have to find a way to correct a color at another place, which is a lengthy and expensive process. To be fair, I must say that the owner was nice, acknowledged the failure of the man who did the color and offered to come in again and fix itwhich didn't work. _____old review_____ Relatively good prices, service is nice. However they will take 3 clients at a time...... so no personal touch

The lady always did my eye brows super nice and she even did my hair for prom. Love them!

I went to color my hair and selected light brown. But after the treatment only the roots were light brown and the rest was dark brown the color already had.. and when I went back and showed it, they said they will recolour the light brown roots and that they don’t know why it happened.. so they made the roots darker the color I had before very disappointing.. Saw some great reviews and went there thinking it’s a good place.. so basically I spent $100 to keep my dark brown color hair...

The best Hair Salon in San Jose. Highly recommend for any young folks who want to have the latest trendy style The owner is so professonal. She just got my idea right away when I tried to describe the style that i wanted... And she made it perfect

The best hair cut I’ve ever had !!!!! The staff was very friendly they made me fell so comfortable like they were my friends i highly recommend this salon ! Oh yeah I also had my hair coloured it looks wonderful and feels awesome ! 5 stars

I really like it. Great haircut at a reasonable price. All the ladies here cut good hair but Vivian here is really really good. Clean interior and plenty of light. Park outside by the curb or go around the corner to the parking lot.
