SERVPRO of Scottsdale

After I experienced water damage in my home, I believed I was engaging ServPro of Scottsdale to completely remediate the damage. It wasn't until the drying process was complete and carpet was still pulled up and walls had been demolished and not rebuilt that I learned ServPro had only agreed to dry out the area and not completely restore it. The owner was completely unconcerned about the miscommunication and informed me it would be six weeks before a crew would be available to finish the work. This left me on my own to find a carpet contractor and a drywall contractor so I could completely recover from the damage. Additionally, ServPro filed a twenty day notice of lien to make it easier for a mechanics lien to be filed later if I didn't pay for their services. This was very insulting since an invoice hadn't even been sent. Once I paid the bill, the owner refused to provide a follow-up release notice to indicate the payment had been made and no lien was going to be filed. The series of interactions with the business owner was so unsatisfactory, I would never use this business again. I have shared this review with many others.

I'm overall disappointed with my experience using Servpro Scottsdale to remediate water damage from a neighbors toilet in my bathroom. They removed the toe kick on my vanity without asking my permission as well as the art on my walls. The art was stored in my living room behind chair. Not even a mention to me first. The original team who assessed damages and installed the drying equipment were not the same people who returned the following day to reassess the progress. Of course, the new team found additional damage. In other words, another day of water damage transpired in some areas without remediation due to an oversight by the first responders. The project manager lacked empathy and used semantics and contradictions when attempting to explain the process and paperwork. I did not care for his style of communication whatsoever. Generally speaking, I feel the remediation process was less successful than it should have been. Communication between me and the project manager/technicians was fragmented and inconsistent. Techniques and processes were not properly explained. When I pressed for answers - there were inconsistencies abound. I do not not recommend this company and would not trust them to properly remediate water damage in the future.Service: Water damage-related cleanup & repair

We had a leak in our condo. Yes they arrived quickly but here is why the rating is poor. The carpet was wet they arrived went around and put tape on the wall that showed moisture but yet they did not take the base boards off they left them on did not roll wet carpet back just put dryer down and that's it. Next day same . The leak happened on Sunday and it took them until Tuesday to pull underlay away and Wednesday finally removed baseboards. This was dragged on until Thursday. My neighbor had a different company Silverton they were excellent. Arrived very quickly and also pulled up and back everything. This bill was 3200 from Servpro $$$$. Very expensive and not great. Every day a different group of people. My neighbor had the same team they knew what had been happening with her property and her leak far worse and she was dried out around the same time. I do not reccomend this company.

Outstanding flood support and remediation in December 2018. We encountered a flood due to a broken water line - which resulted in excess of 1" of water throughout our 1st floor. SERVEPRO of Scottsdale quickly dispatched a team in the evening hours, and arrived within an hour. The Project Manager Tony arrived ahead of the larger mitigation team, thoroughly addressed the situation, and did an excellent job in describing the upcoming process for us. While extremely professional and knowledgeable, Tony also did an outstanding job informing us of options to best mitigate the issue and avoid more costly repairs. The team then worked long into the night until the water was extracted and our home was stabilized. Throughout our full drying and mitigation process 6 days, Tony and the SERVEPRO team were incredibly professional - on time - diligent - thoughtful - and compassionate. The SERVEPRO Team directly coordinated with our insurance company to ensure everything they were doing was being covered. Our insurance adjuster was also highly complimentary of the high quality work and smart decisions made during our mitigation, as the guidance by SERVEPRO helped mitigate the flood, and limit additional repairs, renovations, and displacement to a minimum. Throughout the process, I also interacted with the SERVEPRO of Scottsdale owner Jeff - who as well was always professional, diligent, and customer-focused. Beginning to end, the entire SERVEPRO of Scottsdale Team were the most professional, highest quality experts, and an absolute pleasure to work with - we highly recommend them.
