Great place for young kids. Lots of rides and half the park has water-related activities. Would advise going early or later in the day opening time or after 3. Otherwise kids will enjoy. Cute parade of all the Sesame Street characters. Check pricing and perhaps bring your own snacks and water.Visited onPublic holidayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedYesPrice for adult entry$31+
We had a great time here with a 3 yr old. Staff was enthusiastic, we didn’t encounter a single grumpy employee. The performers at the parade were wonderful, they put on a great show while keeping kids safe and entertained. If you come on a weekday, the lines are short if there at all and the park is less crowded. The park was also notably clean and well-kept, none of the rides appeared to be run-down. Here’s a tip: BRING YOUR OWN FOOD. You cannot take it into the park. However, you can leave the park and come back they stamp your wrist and they have an area of picnic tables and umbrellas just outside by the preferred parking. Bring your own food and keep it in your car, the park is so compact that’s it’s very easy to head back to your car, even with little ones! Food prices were HIGH inside of the park, $12 for a hot dog, $7 for a pretzel…just a few examples. Also check out their season passes, especially if you’re coming with a group. The gold pass gives you what is essentially 5 tickets the pass holder plus 4 guests a season for exactly half the cost.
Fun rides for younger kids., the girls sure had a nice time. The parade was totally mind blowing . But food pricing is definitely overrated, 1 bottle of water costs over $4.99 plus taxes. I drunk at least 5 of them, I can’t imagine such ridiculousness.
First off gotta say, I do like this park, it's just certain things run me the wrong way. We got here around 2pm, food was limited as there was only the pizzeria open to serve customers. Food is very expensive, for the little bit that you get. Also be aware that the water side of the park closes at 6pm while the rest of the park closes at 8pm. We went on a Tuesday, crowd was not an issue and there were no lines, like none at all to ride the rides. Especially the roller coasters which are super fun as you can take an average sized 4 year old on! All in all super fun for the kids, parents be prepared to spend around 200 on extras like food and souvenirs, and that's if your being cheap about it. Oh and parking is 30 dollars too!
We love Sesame Place! There are rides and roller coasters for everyone. My kids feel safe tuning around the place and enjoy all the rides because they are kid friendly! A few things I would change is the food as it truly sucks and it is overpriced; for the admission price the park charges the food should be better. Also the candy they gave for Halloween war poor in comparison to your regular trick or treat!
Awesome fun here it wasn’t too over crowed the rides were fun and easy to get around.fast passes for those who have special needs is also a huge plus! The parades they had were so much fun and the shows were great for the kids too not too long.
Worth the time spent for quality family memories! Amazing staff and family care center for moms. Enjoyed all the toddler rides and water park areas! Great time watching the afternoon parade. Character meet and greet photos were fun too! Did not feel rushed or anything. It was a delight for the kids!Visited onWeekdayWait timeUp to 10 minReservation recommendedYesPrice for adult entry$16–20
Very nice experience. Sesame place was very clean. Very busy and very popular. It was 95 degrees and the water park was amazing. The sprinklers and shallow pool areas are nice for kids and adults to relax. There are changing areas and plenty of bathrooms. They have special sensory rooms for anyone who needs them. The bathrooms are freezing cold especially nice when it is very hot outside. The bathrooms are clean. The staff are friendly. The parade was nice and fun and entertaining. During the week it's about 13 minutes long. On the weekend it's longer at 30 minutes with more entertainment according to a friend who stayed over the weekend in their sesame place hotel. It's nice and strict here. Security is strict here and keeps the park safer. The preferred parking attendant was very nice and friendly and helped me by directing me to a good spot. Upon entering you see New Jersey police standing by keeping law and order. Overall the park is nice and clean. Come early to beat the crowds. Good place for the kids to play and socialize. The park is handicap accessible in all forms. Special needs children friendly environment. I would recommend this place.
Today was just an excellent day despite the cold: I enjoyed myself at the furry friends dance party, seeing both neighborhood street party mini parades while also getting hugs by Rosita, seeing Murray for the mystery character meet and greet at Abby's paradise theater, meeting Ernie and Bert as well Cookie monster in the Sesame neighborhood, the service I had at Elmo's eatery was wonderful and shout-out to the cashier Jaclyn for being so kind/sweet to me! Seeing Grover and Elmo at photos with Elmo and Friends was great But my highlight today was meeting Elmo and Abby Cadabby at photos with Elmo and Friends which was awesome especially when I got to meet them twice and give them big furry hugs also Abby is my favorite character and I'm her biggest fan plus the photographers were wonderful! I will definitely be back again for more Sunny day fun in this magical place!
Nothing special about Sesame Place , it is a normal park for kids and should be for kids 8 years or less to enjoyy .. the rides are old and not much , the park is divided in both dry and Wet rides . Parking is 30$ … Long lines , average waiting time was 30 minute on weekday .. they have a nice show which was 2 time @ 3:00 and a mini one @ 7:00 ..
