Shaara Contracting

I hired Shaara to renovate my kitchen and bathroom. It was a terrible mistake for 2 reasons - 1. Mohammad hires unqualified/sloppy workers 2. He was often at other job sites so no one was there to oversee the project. Whoever installed the tub used the wrong shower valve, so after the job was completed water started dripping through the ceiling. Mohammad sent someone back to rip open the ceiling and fix it, but two weeks later it happened again. This time it was buckets of water raining down from my ceiling. It was because my daughter was taking a bath and no one installed an overflow drain that pipe that catches the water when the level gets high. So buckets of water started pouring through the ceiling. Why did these things happen? Because the guy doing the work was unqualified and Mohammad wasn't there to manage the job. The work is sloppy. My "new" bathroom tile has missing pieces, and the grout was rushed. I complained to Mohammad and his response was "I'm speechless." Again, he wasn't there to manage his guys. See the pictures below for more examples of bad work - destroying part of the floorboard, cutting moulding inaccurately, etc. Needless to say, I will never hire him again. I will be filing a complaint with DOB and BBB so others don't make the same mistake I did.
