Making my second appointment in a year. Very safe atmosphere and warm inviting staff

I went to them about a Year ago and i notice all the good reviews have being made by friends and family of this New Owners none of them has license to operate an optical store or optical knowledge or degree they don't have a real optician or technicians all of them are rude the Dominican Ivelice receptionist has no idea to answer phone or optical question and Bengali girl she claims to be the wife of the new owners her name is Safa which not even the owner is an optician only Dr Ly she is the best very good Doctor amazing. i haven’t see the Ecuadorian girl Ingrid she was the only one who knew she could answer any questions and treat you with respect with a lot of experience over 10 years very humble friendly patient and with class always helping with care.

The staff is super welcoming and the doctor is very nice and sweet! They offer great prices and are willing to work with you to help give you the best options. I couldn't be happier and will come again!

I thought I found new eye doctor I could go to since my childhood eye doctor retired. I was sadly mistaken to think it could be Shades of Vision. I found the service at Shades of Vision to be indifferent and unfriendly. They say they will call back - but they don’t. My right eye recently got irritated so I called Dr Li at Shades of Vision and she refused to take a look. I simply wanted someone to look in my eye and see if there was something stuck in there. All she could say was “you have to go see an Optometrist”. And “your insurance doesn’t cover that”. I’m sorry - I think this is very impersonal - ignoring the immediate pain I was in and just punting it down the line. It would have taken 5 minutes to look in my eye and give her opinion. If she really thought I should see an Optometrist afterward - that would have been fine.

Best eye doctor I have met in over 30 years. Is knowledgeable, stays current with latest research, down to earth, takes his time and explains everything in the greatest of detail. Wonderful bedside manner. Friendly, kind, professional, beyond experienced, and great sense of humor excellent with all ages. Took the entire family after my in tial visit.

At my first visit, I was really satisfied by the staff and doctor. They are extremely helpful and kind as well. The prices are reasonable and I strongly recommend this store. If there are any problems, talk to Mamun. He is the best person to go to.

I have been to a lot of opticals, and by far, this is the BEST. Beautiful store, tremendous selection, very nice doctor, and incredible staff. 100% recommend.

Great overall experience with both the staff AND the Optometrist. To date I have had 2 appointments with Dr. Lam and both times have been a easy and great experience. I have ordered both glasses and contacts through this buisness. Shades of Vision has great prices with and without insurance, convient online appointment​ booking, and amazing staff. Out of all the eye doctors ilI have seen in my life Dr. Lam has hands down been the best yet. I had been having headaches on and off for years and when I saw Dr. Lam, he found that I didnt need to be wearing a prescription with astigmatism and since then no more headaches wit my new correct prescription! I highly reccomend this business for everyone looking for a great eye glass store and/or optometrist!

They asked my co payment 150 instead of 105usd. full of scam. no option for zero star. front guy was very rude.
