Our son is in his 6th year at Shannon, and it has been a wonderful experience. The teachers and staff have been loving, strong, giving and genuine through out. We couldn't have asked for a better Christ centered school experience! So many awesome people have poured into him over the years.

My children have been attending Shannon Forest for several years now and we love it! They are so excited each and every day that they get to go to school. It makes my job as a mom so much easier when they are eager to go to school. The teachers are loving, nurturing, and know how to engage the students. As a former elementary teacher at a public school in Greenville, I can say that the curriculum is very strong at Shannon Forest. I wish that I could elaborate here, but I could write a book on the amazing things that are happening in the classrooms there! The administration has always been very supportive and loving to me as a parent. I also appreciate the love that they have shown to my children. Students get to play and learn outdoors a lot as well. This was a bonus that I didn't expect! Students have PE twice a week, as well as a long recess, and they take their snack break outdoors when possible. I've also noticed teachers taking their students outdoors to teach Math, Science, and Social Studies lessons. Very neat! We really love that everyone knows one another and takes care of one another. You should check them out. You will be so happy that you did!

I am a mother of six. My children have been in a number of schools in the Greenville, SC area, both public and private over the past 20 years. I can say, without hesitation, that Shannon Forest Christian School has been the absolute best school our family has experienced.
In addition to my 6 children, I have 8 nieces and nephews that have also been students at Shannon Forest throughout the past 10 years. I have participated enough years, known enough students, and known enough parents to feel my experience at Shannon Forest is not unique and that my opinion is fairly objective.
I love that Shannon Forest Christian School is continually improving its facilities, academics, athletics and fine arts. I appreciate that the leadership seems to strive for excellence in all these areas. However, the reason Shannon Forest stands out from the other schools is not in those things. They can be found in many schools. Shannon Forest is an exceptional school because of one attribute rarely seen in education anymore. That attribute, found consistently in the faculty and staff at Shannon Forest, is that they value the relationships that they have with their students…with MY child! They know them, they pray for them, they engage them, they inspire them! At the end of the day, my children are not going to reflect back on how great the building was, how many extra-curricular activities there were or on how many games a particular athletic team won. What they will remember is how a relationship they had with a teacher or a coach motivated and inspired them to succeed in areas they never thought possible! How someone cared about the details of their life and invested their time, energy and love, when they didn’t have to! I love many things about Shannon Forest and my graduates have been very well prepared for their futures, but it is this attribute that sets Shannon Forest apart in the educational marketplace, and why I, as a mom, know my children couldn’t be in a better place.
