Well, I was very disappointed after driving across town to check out their firearms and find the gun department was closed! I looked around and they do have some good stuff. I was hoping for some good camera equipment but didnt see a single camera, tripod or anything related to photography or videography. I
Customer service is trash. They will give you good deals but if something is behind the counter...good luck. Update....the moved down by Wendy's. My big problem...you have to stand in line as a buyer to get service. Sometimes 30 min +. Just to look at an item. So...you have to go through multiple pawn transactions just to see an item. Items which are grossly over-priced. I'm done with them
I had to put my camera in the pawn shop in December 11th for $100. And I put my lenses in for $150 the same day. My monthly fee for camera was $20. And the lenses fee was $35 a month. Maybe prices have changed and there is now an interest fee but, I was not aware of it. I came in on March 11th to put $60 on each ticket. And the two young men had no customer's and they let me stand at register for a few minutes as they looked at a drums set and then they came over to insult people like me who use the pawn shop they work in. One said it was good I put $60 on each but they talked to each other like "she could still lose her stuff due to monthly and interest fee's. ..." They insulted people for making monthly payments on time and they insulted people who pay after three months. They also insulted people for thinking they don't have an interest fee along with their monthly charge. When I checked out in December I was given paperwork with a monthly fee balance and there was nothing about interest fee's. The cashier did not explain that when he told me he gets commission on pawn shop sales. But, I could afford to grab my camera and lenses that same day after they gave me "jerks/MEN in retail" vibes because I don't work in retail. I ended up paying $270 for my lenses and $180 for my camera. $15 extra for lenses and $20 extra for camera. Not terrible. The men insulted people who lose their belongings in pawn shops and they told me I would pay the monthly fee in April which I understood. But I didn't want to pay an interest fee that they don't mention of list on the receipt. These men acted like I made a big deal of nothing when I asked for my receipt. The receipt didn't explain interest fee's but I just took my things and left. Never again. If I had to, I'd go somewhere else.
I just left this store, and I couldn’t have had a better experience! Kelly, the district manager, Edgar, and a young man in glasses should have got his name made my wait pleasant since background checks take a minute for guns. I’ve read the reviews that were extremely negative on this store. The employees I dealt with in the past who were awfully rude are no longer there. I’ve been there 2 days in a row and both days I left with a smile. Couldn’t say that 2 years ago. Everyone has their days. They have guidelines to abide by in giving loans for items. Pawn stars makes it look glamorous and it’s very tedious. My personal experience with them was very good. Thank you all for being helpful and friendly. I wasn’t made to feel any type of bad way here today. Thanks, guys!!!
I bought a used car audio system from them. The amp gain knob is damaged. The worker told me it was just sensitive. As soon as the gain was turned the subwoofers blew. Now, I'm hoping they take it back and swap me with a replacement amp, subwoofers and box!! I just purchased it May 24, 2023. It's May 26th 2023
The gentleman was very helpful with purchasing a firearm. The woman who checks the paperwork has no sense of customer service. Explains the poor Google reviews. Definitely will not return. I would rather pay a few dollars more than be made to wait while they socialize
I bought and pawned here. They gave me I'm more than fair amount when pawning. However you must check your receipts because when I bought items that were listed for a certain price in their sales. Once I got home I realized on my ticket they charged me $7 more and that was by the manager Kelly. Otherwise it was good deals.
The only pawn shop that I have used for years. Go in and ask for Dave!!! He's amazing, helpful, and the only man in the business that I will work with in the industry. He takes care of the customer and I highly recommend him and Sharp Mart Pawn for any need you may have. Thanks Dave for all the help over the years.
Charged $20 extra after being told on 9-9th 2022 that if I picked up my camera after the 9th of October, I would pay $100. I came in with $80 week later and I was charged $100. And when I asked for a receipt, the cashier told me they usually don't give people a receipt when they pick up their item.
Well where do I start. I called in the day before forfeit of my items and get the ok to come in the following Friday. I come in and all the items are on the floor for sale. Not only that they did not even keep the attachments or accessories together. Nor did the female manager keep her word. I was told it was all about crunching numbers. Well crunch my business that you will no longer receive. Horrible customer service. Also, they have no integrity and are low ballers. STAY AWAY from Sharp Mart. Would not recommend.
