Beautiful growth and stream. With a little love this could be a renewed treasure. Bridge was out, a tree down~so blocked some of the trails. Tadpoles was a nice surprise.
A sorry, neglected little sliver of a preserve which runs along Darby creek. The trails are muddy and not maintained as you trudge through the brush and woods behind people's backyards. Didn't make it very far since both bridges are out. Fortunately the other Nature Lands sites are maintained so avoid this one.
A fun experience - hiking in the woods with a stream, flowers, fallen trees to walk over, and so much more! You can even spot animals like birds, deer and rodents! I've been coming to sharps for a few years now, and it's always been a wholsome, enjoyable time!
Nice trails along small creeks with bridge crossings. Flickers and red-bellied woodpeckers calling and skunk cabbage stinking.
Poison ivy & mud paths with a calm little creek that runs through it
