Took our xbox for a "quick fix" 6 months ago and will not return calls or messages asking for updates. Their phones are turned off and set to voicemail only. They never return calls. At this point would love my xbox back whether or not it is fixed because this is ridiculous.
Update: Changing my review to a one star. I stopped by during posted hours again, still closed. Phone is still going to busy. I had to pay someone else to fix the charging port which makes me mad cause if these guys did a good job they should have fixed it. But there's literally nothing that says they're on vacation or if they're closed or when they're going to reopen and I needed my phone fixed. They've been closed all week with nothing posted and the phone is going to a busy signal. I brought my phone here to replace the charging port and now my phone won't charge and I have no idea if these guys are still in business to fix it.
Sharp Solutions was able to solder on a new antenna connector for my Chevy radio. Andrew made the process a breeze and got the job done in a timely and cost effective manner. Will definitely use Sharp Solutions again and would highly recommend them!
Very good place for your fixes. Don't know his name but the guy that waited on us was very knowledgeable. Good prices too
So I tried to build my own pc. I had all the parts and such but she wouldn't turn on. So I took it to sharp solutions per recommendation of a friend. Within hours, they had my pc running with windows and all my LED fans going and not a single cable to be seen. Besides their workmanship, they are also all some super friendly chill people who seem to care a lot about their community. I'll literally always be taking my pc here you won't catch me dead anywhere else with my technological needs.
I initially dropped my broken laptop off with the guys at Sharpe Solutions in March of 2018. I had recently bought it after months of searching for the right one, but while tinkering with it I shorted the motherboard. The guys at Sharpe Solutions were friendly and gave me what I though was a pretty fair price of around $350 to get it back up and running. I was living just over the border in Massachusetts so I would call the shop every Friday to get a status update and see if my computer was available for pick up. A couple weeks later, I went and picked up my laptop and took it home. I noticed there that the trackpad was not working anymore, and the keyboard was no longer back-lit, one of the features that I shopped for months for. I returned to the store the next weekend and notified Andrew about this. It was within warranty, so they took it back and said they would fix it. Again, I would call every Friday to check on the status and see when I could come back to pick up. This went on for 7 months, until OCTOBER 20, 2018, when after I called I was told that my computer was finally available to be picked up. In that 7 months I had moved, so my commute to get my laptop was about an hour. When I got back to my car, I opened it up to take and look and realized the keyboard was missing. Having already broke my computer once, I walked back in the store and asked Andrew if he could put it back on for me. He apologized, said they were working on it for so long that they forgot to put the keyboard back on. OK, no big deal. While installing the keyboard, he ends up popping a key off and then breaking it altogether. I am told that they do not have any extras and will need to order one. They see my frustration, and are well familiar with me at this point. They know that I have moved and offer to ship my laptop to me in order to save me a trip. I continue to call about once every other week checking on the status of my repair. I am never given a solid answer and Andrew failed to follow up with me as promised on at least 2 occasions. Fast forward to today, March 11, 2019. I just got back from UPS where I picked up my laptop that was shipped to me as promised back in October 2018. The computer powers on now, but only for another 30 minutes as the Sharpe Solutions team has neglected to return my computer charger. I am grateful that the trackpad and mouse buttons work, but unfortunately the replacement keyboard they installed is not back-lit. Disappointed is as nice as I can phrase this. I don't ever write reviews, but after what was the absolute worst customer service experience I have ever experienced in ANY industry, I feel like I am obligated to share this.
I’m not entirely sure how this business gets anything done. I reached out by email May 15 for a desktop hdd replaced with an ssd, I reached out that way because his website was down with an error that it “may be impersonating the real site trying to get personal info”, apparently they forgot to update the security for their own website. We went back and forth a couple times then after giving the serial # he asked I didn’t hear anything, then while eventually asking for a follow my emails went to spam and we all know that the spam filter doesn’t work like that. He said he could do it no big deal so I called on May 19 and gave him the deposit over the phone which was for the part itself, $135 with the plan that he’d call me on Tuesday when the part came in then i could bring my desktop in and he’d repair it the same day, I’d pay the labor etc and be done - seemed easy enough. No call from him at all that following week so I called him later in the week, no answer. I mistakenly figured he’d call if there was a problem since he had my number plus in my email signature is my cell # in each one plus obviously he had my email address too. By June 8th I started to worry there was an issue so I called, left a vm, sent an email. I called again and he said he had to go away for a funeral for 3 weeks? and never actually ordered it he was supposed to order it the day I paid so it’d be there in a couple days, obviously that didn’t happen. He insisted he was going to put the order in right then when we got off the phone so it’d be there soon and then he’d give me a call as soon as it was in. I received no call or email for 3.5 weeks so I called again left a vm and sent email asking for a refund. He asked me to call so I did, he said he did order it but he must have “left a message on the wrong number” when it came in, despite me confirming the correct phone number the last time we had spoke plus it’s in all my email signatures plus he could just send an email. He said he could put the part in and be done pretty quickly but I explained that I didn’t feel comfortable with this considering how difficult this had been for over a month this was June 26, I had made payment May 19 so he said he’d give a refund and I’d have it back within a couple days. No refund came through. On June 30 I called and he said he’d look into it and he’d call back within half hour, he didn’t. I called again on July 3 left a vm and sent email, he wrote back saying he was closed for the holiday which is fine but he had told me days before he was going to call me back and didn’t. On July 5 he said he’d look into it again and would call me back. On July 8 I STILL hadn’t heard from him so I called again and sent an email. On July 11 he said he had processed the refund and I should get the receipt that day plus the refund soon. I never received either. July 17 I told him I still haven’t received either and I just ended up having to drive down there and get a cash refund. What an absolutely giant waste of time and the whole thing just seemed so sketchy with the amount of excuses and never reaching out. Did the part actually come in or was he just saying that because I was asking for a refund? I mean, he had said 2 other times he was ordering it right then and never did so not a stretch to think it never happened. If it did come in how long was he going to wait before contacting me? He had already waited 3.5 weeks and I could only get the refund within 30 days of ordering the part he said, but all he did was try once by calling and never tried sending an email “hey I tried to reach out by phone but your part is sitting here, you have until ___ date before your 30 days are up”? The entire experience was incredibly irritating.
Great place and great service. They worked on my wife's tablet for over a week and did not give up. They worked like an Army and did not surrender. Tablet is working fine and they hardly charged me enough to pay for their coffee. I had to give them a tip because I felt guilty. Thank you Andrew and your assistant. I am sorry I do not remember her name but she is the only woman working there. I very nice lady and was very polite even though I kept calling several times.
These people helped me SOOOOOOO much. I was literally so screwed. My computer had a cracked screen and a broken keyboard. Their prices were decent and they were awesome. THANK YOU SO MUCH!
