I could not be any happier to have Scott Shaw. Scott has done more for me on our first phone call than any attorney I have dealt with. I have two cases  Scott is helping me with. A divorce and a custody battle and the other is a custody battle. Both fathers have ganged up and tried to take custody away from me. I called Scott & come to find out they are both in contempt. He told me to go pick them up!  Scott Shaw knows the law & he can relate. I feel it's one thing to be an attorney to know the law and to fight but to be the attorney who been in the same shoes as his clients is the icing on the cake for me. I have been a House mom for nearly 10 years never  had to work so child support is an issue for me having to raise four children while having to pay for an attorney. When my marriage entered choppy waters, I interviewed a few attorneys who all gave the same bland answers which left me hopeless about what I wanted and felt deserved to get. Then, I met with Mr. Shaw at his office. Scott impressed me immediately by not only grasping the concerns I had, but also by suggesting ideas/strategies that gave me the confidence that I had a good shot at getting the outcomes I was hoping to achieve. That was a big step forward for me. From there on, trust started building and I relied on Scott to help me out with a couple of tricky situations where I found him to be both timely/responsive and creative in coming up with excellent solutions. Throughout the case, Scott provided solid legal counsel and great friendly advice. He was a busy attorney but was generally accessible fairly quickly, even during weekends, which translates to “peace of mind” in difficult times. Another characteristic that stood out was that he made a conscious effort to keep the legal fees low even when he could have taken advantage of my desperation at times. How often can you say that?! All said and done, Scott was a terrific attorney and a consummate professional who genuinely cared about my case and the way he provided his services. He has my heartiest recommendation! Shaw Law Firm is an amazing Law Firm. Scott did everything he could to ensure my request were met. From the beginning he was about helping me get my kids back and told me what I had to do to be successful. He took the time to do a thorough investigation on my ex and obtain plenty of evidence to help us win. He is precistant and when the courts or other party wasn’t responding he stayed on top of it so no one could put it off. I would recommend Scott to anyone who needs a no games kind of lawyer because he gets the job done.

I was very pleased with Scott Shaw, Divorce and child custody attorney.  My divorce was expedient with a very favorable outcome.  Scott is very knowledgeable in the law and always made himself available for questions and concerns whether it was by phone or email.  He prepared me for the worst case scenario, which didn't look good at all by the way and the best scenario. Of course we won with the best case scenario. I am very happy and would recommend his services to anyone in need.

Mr. Shaw did an excellent job of assisting my family and I in getting visitation rights for my grandson. Every objection made by the opposing party was denied due to his preparation for the case. Although I had to move out of the country during the later part of the process, he was able to allow my mother to testify on my behalf. The judge also honored his request to allow me to testify by phone from the UAE. My family and I are pleased with Mr. Shaw's legal services, and would highly recommend him for your family law matters.

I was very happy that Scott was my attorney. Unlike other attorneys that I talked to, he was precise, straight to the, and did exactly just enough to get the desired outcome. He dismissed the opposing attorney's claims and proved the judge was wrong. Consultation fee was tripled, comparing one other attorneys that i talked, but Scott did his homework before he spoke to me. Shaw took on my case as it was nearly 6 years in the midst.  A huge case history.  We were in dire straights at the time after a mishandling of my case by a prior attorney, lack of due process by our Cobb County Judge, and a poor investigation by a Guardian Ad Litem.  It was a long road, and it is still ongoing.  Shaw is calculated, practical, honest, and utilizes experts in the Family Law professional community to get the job done.  Family law is a hard field to navigate, and Shaw does his absolute best to serve his clients- even given huge setbacks and misfortune.  He does not subscribe to the common politics which the field can be dominated by.  He runs his firm by the book, and the laws therein.  I deeply respect Scott Shaw and his work.
