Shawarma Press

Looking in a strip center for a quick bite and thought this was a printer. Upon observing more closely, determined it was a restaurant. To our surprise, this turned out to be an outstand Mediterranean indoor fast food restaurant where they make everything fresh from scratch. Had a spicy chicken wrap "pressed" on the grill (hence the name) with the BEST bread ever! Yum...

The food is good. But they need to learn the meaning of term "efficiency". Be ready to wait for a LONG LONG time for the food under the banner that "we make it fresh"....comeon!!! It is Shawarma and the meat is always prepared and it is one of the most easy dish. I have had Shawarma from a number of places before and this one never tasted any better compared to the ENORMOUS wait time. So I really don't understand it. Also I noticed that if one person order 2 Shawarma and something else and the next in line order 1 Shawarma...they don't somehow understand that making 3 in a go is going to reduce wait time. Probably these guys have no clue on how to run an eatery efficiently.

Affordable but the swarmas are small. Plus the owner/staff did not inform us that the swarma platter do not come with pita bread at the time of ordering. I got my food to-go and when I was ready to eat there was no pita bread just meat with hummus.

Not a good value for the money. I ordered a beef shawarma wrap, fries and drink with a baklava and it was over $12... which would be fine if any of it was better than mediocre. the sandwich wasn't really good (odd flavored sauce with the beef) and the fries had an unexpected texture. The baklava was ok, but for $2.49 a piece, it could have been better.

Authentic Shawarma, very fresh. Every dish here is authentic at a very reasonable price. Try it and you will not be disappointed.
