Dr. Burton is not specifically a gerontologist but it seemed to be her super power. I liked her the best of all of my elderly mother's docs for several reasons. First, she didn't feel threatened when I tried to discuss things with her from the pov of someone who is not as knowledgeable as she but who's still not a dummy. I appreciated that so much. Also, she was very aware of naturopathy and knew instantly the things I was giving Mom that were working just fine. She didn't roll her eyes or change to a patronizing tone but rather supported us on that. Thirdly, she allowed me to take care of Mom at home in a pre-Covid telecommute way because she knew how torturous it was to get Mom to the office. So as long as I was willing to take Mom's bp and bgl daily and fax them in to her office, she was willing to chat with me over the phone. Now there are zoom visits in every office but back then, it was not common at all. She made caring for my mother at the end so much easier and I will always bless her for that.

Dr. Burton has been my doctor for years. I love her for how caring and professional she is. She really cares, she listens and her knowledge is way beyond many doctors i've been to before. She helped me with all my medical conditions, i've never felt better.

My husband and I have been going to Dr. Burton for a few years, since she was in the old building. She's always professional, helpful and friendly. She listens to your complaints and explains every recommendation and diagnosis. I've recommended her to friends and family. The wait to see her can be a bit long at times, but I don't think it's any different than any other doctor's office wait times. I've never felt rushed or dismissed by her or her staff.

I have been seeing Dr. Burton for almost 10 years and have to say that I have never a bad experience or bad consultations with her or her staff. Dr. Burton stands tall regarding her integrity, passion for her patients and their well being, she is honest with her patients and most of all she has the experience and knowledge that will put you at ease. I relocated from Arkansas in 2007 with my 2 boys and she has been their doctor as well as confidant and have referred several people to her for help.

There's one staff member who genuinely cares. The rest make it very clear to you that you are unimportant. This has not changed since my last review. My review a few months ago: Doctor is great. But the staff is atrocious enough to warrant a one star review. Seriously Dr. Burton, fire whoever's on phone duty and hire someone who won't hang up on callers, get hostile to calm and politely phrased questions, or just forget they asked to send a prescription for days in a row. Also they have a two hour lunch break noon to 2pm, but you can expect your calls to not be answered 11:30am-2:30pm

I am very happy with the ladies in the front office. Dr. Burton is knowledged,professional and carries herself with patience and kindness even through the worst scenarios of our scary diagnoses. Thank you for delivery of truth, but finding the hope to continue on with normal lives.

Dr Burton is great. Her staff is horrible and brings the experience down. I hadn’t even been in the office physically as of yet, called to make an appointment and the staff couldn’t be more rude. Update March 14, 2019: Day of appointment I waited for an hour and twenty minutes before I was seen, I showed up early and everything. My appointment was for 11, I showed up at 10:40, got called back at 11:50 something. I get my vitals taken and everything, now it’s 12:07, I have an interview across town for 1, which is why I made my appointment at the time I did. I was only there for a well woman’s exam so I didn’t expect to be there long. Unfortunately I’m going to have to find another OBGYN. I took time off from work to see my doctor and this visit just pushed me closer to seeking out another physician.

Dr Burton is awesome! The absolute best doctor. She listens to you and takes time with you. Her office is almost always busy, the sign of a good doctor and patients who like to see her when they are sick.

I can’t believe these reviews! I’ve always been treated with the utmost care and courtesy at Dr. Burton’s office. She always takes time to listen to my concerns and address them. I’m so glad I found her and her wonderful office staff.
