We were positively exposed to this law firm a couple of years ago through my financial planner. Specifically we had the joy to meet attorney Mr. Andrew Grabowski. He gave us a 101 lesson on wills, trusts and the gauntlet of things/options to do, we did not act on that day as we were not yet ready,and had to digest the facts, ideas, suggestions and whom exactly do we want to execute & pull the plugs. Fast forward to 2015, we called the firm and scheduled an appointment with Mr. G and got the ball rolling. His willingness to meet with us opened plenty of doors and dialogue, he was kind enough to meet with us several times. His amazing mind and ability to toss out thought provoking scenarios, situations , and what ifs, challenged us in a very positive and forward thinking mindset, after a draft and re-write or two, we finalized our irrevocable trusts and got out post life details in order. They also provided a binder with a succession plan, with primary's and secondary's and back up to those as well, even a nuclear option , what if you have no heirs left, what group or charities to have in place so it does not fall into the Michigan Treasury The introductory meeting, subsequent meetings and final draft were all covered through a flat fee retainer , which was very fair. Although discussing post life details can be at times tough, unusual & thought provoking , Mr Grabowski's passion and to exceed the clients needs were a total blessing.
