Some of the best coffee there is out there. It is freshly made. It’s also perfectly roasted and fresh with each and every coffee bean they make out there!

I'm an espresso hobbyist and just moved to the area. I was pleasantly surprised to find such a great local roaster so close to my house. These guys are legit. Great selection of single origin and blends. Very helpful and friendly staff. Highly recommend.

This is for the Trumbull location where the coffee is roasted freshly and often. I can't do this business enough justice with just a review here on Google. You'd have to go for yourself in person and purchase a bag or 2 of this amazing coffee. There are many roasts and origins to chose from and the staff there is absolutely fantastic with how you're treated and they take time to answer any questions you might have. Thanks to all who work at this location and all you do is well appreciated with every shot of espresso or cup of delicious coffee no matter how its brewed. Oh. And they sell brewing supplies and accessories for your greatest cup possible at home.

Great coffee and very nice accommodating owner and staff. They have a great selection of single origin organic beans roasted fresh. They have s great selection coffee brewing devices and storage option for your coffee.

Although limited with the suppliers that grow certified organic, Shearwater manages to provide excellent quantity coffees that are organic at a price that is very competitive. However, the most notable achievement is the perfecting of the roast of each crop by trial and error. For example, the dark roast of Papua New Guinea is incredibly smooth while providing rich aromas typical of the region. There are many micro-roasters that simply focus on supplying quality coffees that brew a satisfying cup, and this is definitely one of them. I am waiting for them to find quality organic coffees grown in the United States, i.e., Hawaii.

Christian, Pat, and Ed are all super passionate and knowledable about all aspects of coffee and are willing to work with you to get you what you need whether it is pre ground or an entire brewing set up. Highly recommended and we are super fortunate to have such good coffee in this region.

Good coffee and a very knowledgeable staff. Be aware that the Trumbull location isn't a full serve coffee shop, really just for tastings. They DO NOT have milk.
