Delicious. Very busy. Crowded at lunchtime. The seating feels odd somehow. Plan to take it out if you can. I have Stayed in before, but I felt very exposed to all the other patrons over my food If you like spicy you can not go wrong with most of the food.
It’s a great Indian Halal restaurant downtown Manhattan. Food Quality is great and huge food they use to serve. According to downtown Manhattan prices is pretty good. I love it.Food: 5/5
Authentic and delicious home cooked food. This is the real deal. The Shish Kebab was tasty and came with a light savory sauce. Looking forward to going back and ordering the curry, great inexpensive cooking.
The restaurant looks simple from the outside but has the best food. The staff is very friendly and kind and you can customize your plate with is very rare to find in Indian restaurants.Recommended dishesMango Lassi, Samocha, Chicken Tikka Masala, Vegetable Samosa Big
The food quality wasn't great, and there's room for improvement in maintaining hygiene standards. The place could use better cleaning practices, although the staff is average. Additionally, they do have mosques available for prayer at this location.Food: 3/5
I was so happy to find the masjid. I went inside the Halal restaurant and asked where is the masjid. They told me downstairs. It is right beside the stairs in the basement. Very clean and smells good Alhamdulillah. May Allah bless the management and the owner.
Their ownership has changed. The quality of their food has changed a lot. The food is delicious. They have different kinds of food .The price of food is good. “”They have two bathrooms and space for prayer””
3.5 stars Fresh Curry is a Bangladeshi / Pakistani style casual eatery. interior is a bit simple and gritty: a few tables and chairs; an order counter displaying curried eats and other bites; and a refrigerated unit filled with soft drinks. it’s a little messy, but that’s the vibe. food is basically is on heating trays and heated up via microwave. the food is priced on the higher side versus and the servings tend to be smaller versus other places. ordered chicken curry, cauliflower, and rice to-go. the curry tends to be spiced fairly hot, not mild. the chicken was tender and was flavorful. the cauliflower was pretty good. and the rice was fine. overall, the portion feels a little small versus other hole-in-the-wall curry joints. there are not many options late night for curry in tribeca so this will likely be where you’d need to go. staff are friendly enough and they accept cash, credit, ApplePay etc. definitely a decent place when you’re in a pinch and want spicy South Asian food.
I enjoyed a spicy eggplant curry Desi Style that was expertly prepared and served. I'd also recommend trying the chicken tikka masala. Both roti and naan are excellent accompaniments to any curry.Food: 5/5
I got goat curry with vegetables over rice. Everything was tasty and the curry was spicy. Portion size seemed pretty good for the priceFood: 5/5
