Everyone there is excellent. I love how they treat each bird/animal they all provide great customer service and exceptional care for your pets.
Fantastic vets! They serve ferrets. We had an issue with another place because they weren’t thorough with their exam and so the problem kept persisting but the vets at Shelburne Veterinary Hospital listened to our concerns and gave us proper medication for our ferrets.
We just been here with our new puppy. We got a quick appointment, the staff was super friendly and welcoming to us. Our vet Liam has been great. He's very professional, he took extra time to answer all our questions and had helpful Tipps. Also our puppy was left with a good experience, so he will remember the vet as a happy place to be. We're very thankful and love to come again.
My fiancé took our 5 year old dog and new puppy here for the first time last week. He said the service was excellent and they even sent a nice card welcoming us as new clients. I haven’t even met the vet yet but I am already impressed.
I would post zero stars if I could. First, I took my rescue in to get spayed. She had already been a patient. I gave them the previous vet information. They opened my dog up and discovered she'd already been spayed. Instead of making sure she needed this surgery they subjected her to an unnecessary and painful surgery that cost me $600. When I had my mother pick my dog up after the surgery, they said they would not give my dog back until I paid. I was working so I asked if I could call them back in an hour with the card number and they threatened to keep my dog if I didn't get them the card information right then and there. I had to rush to get them my card info so that they would not keep my dog. My dog then developed a post-op infection which made her lose her hair. This costed me another $150 with them. When I picked up that medication, I also picked up some flea and tick medicine. I asked how much the flea medicine was and she said $5. It was a six month supply so I asked if the receptionist was sure but she told me "thats what it says here it might be on sale" and I paid. I got a call and email about a month later stating I was charged the wrong amount and now owed them $60. I told them no problem and to send me an invoice. Since they had no way to pay online I didn't get to it right away. I just received an email from them threatening to send me to collections, which would ruin my credit. Over a $59.16 charge that was their mistake in the first place. When I called and spoke to them they stood behind the policy to send someone to collections over their own clerical error. I have had many pets over the years and I have never in my life had such a bad experience with a vet. I feel completely ripped off considering the unnecessary $600 surgery and subsequent post-op infection. My dog is still constantly getting rashes where her belly is and this all started right after the surgery. They don't care about your pet. They care about their bottom line. Go literally anywhere else if you can. EDIT: since I can't reply to a reply I will just say that I did provide what medical records I did have, and that I was most definitely told that they would not give my dog back without payment. It's unfortunate that they are misrepresenting facts here.
I have tried almost every vet in chittenden county, an Addison county. Came across Shelburne vet an they are now our vet an have been for a year now. All staff are friendly, caring, knowledgable people. They do great work with the animals an have seen many of our pets. Always great service an great end results.
Everyone here is kind, thorough, thoughtful and attentive! Dr. Raezer is absolutely wonderful! She truly listens, asks helpful and insightful questions and is very reassuring. I’m thrilled to have my dog cared for by this team!
Highly recommend! My miniature dachshund has different triggers that make going to the vet extremely difficult. Dr. Razor and her team treat your animal with care that lessens anxiety for my pup yet also myself.
Dr. Bison is amazing! He always takes the time to answer all our questions thoroughly and never hesitates to explain anything that he is planning to do. And the new fishtank in the lobby is a calming addition.
The friendly people at SVH got me an appt as a new client right away, they were on time for the appt and didn't make me wait and quickly saw my dog Molly and did her tests in a friendly and professional manner and saved me tons of time. I highly recommend them.
