Norva Bennett is a licensed acupuncturist in the State of New York and a national certified diplomat in Oriental Medicine (which includes acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine) from the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medi
Norva earned her Masters of Science in Traditional Oriental Medicine from the renowned Pacific College of Oriental Medicine (PCOM) in New York City. This program consisted of over 4,050 hours of a combination of classroom time and supervised clinical time. While at PCOM, she had the opportunity to work in the neurology department at the Veteran’s Hospital, St. John’s Riverside Hospital in Yonkers, and The Grand Meridian Clinic in Chinatown.
Norva has continued her study of Advanced Chinese Pulse Diagnosis, Inner Tradition of Chinese medicine, Medicine Without Form, and Chinese herbal medicine with Lonny Jarret and Thea Elijah. She has also received her certifications in Neurofunctional Electrical Acupuncture and Facial Rejuvenation.
Norva is dedicated to the community in which she lives. Once a month she volunteers her time at a Brooklyn community-based clinic which provides acupuncture, bodywork, and reiki to medically underserved patients. A community coming together is stronger than the individual. Together we can inspire a generation to make life changes and improve the quality of life.
