Horrible service! Expect random fees and late charges. Also they will sell you the cheap package and say you are using to much data. Step the package up and have zero changes to your usage and expect even more gigs used. I had 250 gigs a month and never went over 300 gigs. I stepped up to the 300 gigs and stopped using my phone with the wifi. And all the sudden I am averaging 350 to 400 gigs of usage. I do not understand I purchased more gigs and use the service less and no they say I am using even more data. In short stay as far away as possible If they did not have a monopoly in my area I bet they would loss almost every customer. Bernie Madoff has more morals than these people. DO NOT PURCHASE!!! GIVE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY TO SOMEONE WHO ACTUALLY CARES ABOUT YOU. NOT A GROUP OF PEOPLE WHO OPENLY STEAL YOUR MONEY AND LAUGH IN YOUR FACE.

Shentel refuses to run cable Internet to my house when I live basically on hwy220 they say it's not worth the time because there is only 12 peoplet on this road, but the road is only .75 miles long it's not like it wouldnt be worth it for them. Also Customer support is below par and rude.

Want high speed internet? To bad! You will have frequent outages, it will take them two weeks to get to you to fix your lines, and when they finally get there they will tell you nothing is wrong with them. I was a customer with them for over 5 years, and in those five years they have only demanded more money for the same service with diminishing quality. In Western North Carolina, Charter Communications currently offers 1$ a Gigabyte, but Shentel will sell you the same deal at about 5$ a Gigabyte. Do they have to do this? No, they don't. Also I've experienced heavy throttling of my internet speeds since I started using their service five years ago. Good luck not going over you 500Gb data limit. It boggles my mind to think they believe they are doing a service to anyone.

We've been with for a long time we love them great customer service great deals they've never given Us a problem as long as we've had them so keep up the great work shentel employees
