Sheridan Nurseries

We love this nursery in the city. It has plants galore in the spring summer and fall - lots of things you can’t find elsewhere. There is a fun gift area that is large and seasonal - you are sure to find a present for someone (or yourself)! A wide selection of pots, gardening gear, seeds and decor adds to the buying choices. It isn’t always the cheapest but they have an online sign up for coupons and special events. Sheridan also has a calendar of events to check out and enjoy. The Christmas set up here is not to be missed!

Not my favourite place. Some employees were really nice but it didn’t feel as if they knew much about planting. It was a bit difficult to shop around, but a new girl tried her best and an older lady went out of her way to help me find what I was looking for. If it weren’t for them, I’d rate it 2 stars. They have a variety of succulents but they aren’t the prettiest I’ve seen. The living rocks were super expensive ($9.99), even the single ones and they weren’t in the best shape. Their tiny succulents were $3.99 (super tiny) which normally a size like that would cost $1-$2. The regulars are all $9.99-$12. Personally I’ve never had to pay that much for succulents. I bought a big cactus for $15 recently at my fav store but a cactus this size would cost like $40 here. For succulents I normally pay $6-8, for living rocks usually $4-$6. They price their succulents according to the size of the container so regardless what size or condition or type of cacti it is, if it’s in a certain sized container they’ll charge you the same price for all. I compared the prices of the same plants I bought from other locations and I was shocked to see how much pricier this place is. I’m just really happy that I didn’t buy my cacti here because I would’ve lost out on so much money.

Always friendly and KNOWLEDGEABLE staff. They took the time to teach me how to build a great flower pot instead of selling me an expensive pre-made one. Every time I go in I actually get a little garden smarter but not in a way that made me feel like a dumb dumb. And if you don't need help they don't pester you. They're huge 'flower' selection is great quality too!

Absolutely love this nursery. They have a variety of plant species ranging from colorful indoor and outdoor flowing plants to succulents to tropical to bonsai to airplants and roses and pine. helping staff and I should definitely give a special mention of their free tutorials on various gardening interests

Wonderful selection of plants. Got some gorgeous black eyed Susans. And they come with a warranty!
