I purchase an adhesive for my business there and was having issues with one last year as others in my profession had. I bought another one that I was also having the same issues with but was able to add water to make it work, but after a while I opened it and it was tainted with mold. I knew from others that there was a bad batch made of this last year so I brought this one back but it had been over 7 months. Policy would be to not take it back but the employee Seth helped me out and took care of the problem and swapped it for an new one. He understood how to take care of a customer. I will continue to come back and purchase more now since the issue at the factory has been resolved and that I was taken care of at this location.
Great sales representative! My wife and I were very satisfied with the quality stain and materials we bought for our deck. The deck looks great and we almost looked like pros.
This summer I needed to paint the exterior of my garage and following my father's recommendation I decided to purchase my paint from Sherwin Williams. Unfortunately I ran out of paint and could not complete my project so I called the branch where I purchased the paint to order more. Due to product shortages I was told they did not have my paint in supply and there was no date of when to expect more. After speaking with Jared and sharing my situation he went out of his way to find a different but comparable product so I could finish what I started. I really appreciated him listening to me and finding what I needed quickly. I am very happy with Sherwin's products and customer service. Thanks again Jared.
I was the only person in the store. Was treated very rudely - person on staff acted annoyed by my asking for a small piece of advice on popular paints in a particular shade. She aggressively grabbed samples and gave them to me then walked away. Very cold environment, uninviting and super awkward. Would never recommend this SW store location! Seems others on review reads have had VERY similar experiences.
It would be a last resort that I'd recommend them. I was quoted the same price twice by two different people. When I went to pick up, it was $30 more. The manager lacked customer service skills. Never once apologized. I did get my purchase for the price quoted, but had to be treated rudely in order to achieve that. I would of paid the higher price had he not been so rude and actually apologized. I was quoted 24 hours for it to be completed and after a week, I finally called. They claimed they had called but no voicemail. The manager was rude in regards to this as well. I'm not saying I was pleasant, but I didn't walk in expecting to be treated like that. When I'm treated rudely, I put my foot down.
I went into Sherwin Williams on Minnesota Ave today to get some recommendations for paint colors for the interior of my house. The lady working there was rude, unhelpful and annoyed by my asking for assistance. I went down the street to Benjamin Moore and told them my experience and they informed me that is the norm at Sherwin Williams and they get their customers all the time. The guys at Benjamin Moore were super helpful and gave me great customer service and recommendations for colors that would match my woodwork, etc..
My boyfriend always goes to the store on 57th but since we were near this one we decided to head there to get help narrowing down colors. The only person in the store was named Nick and it didn’t seem like he had any interest in helping us whatsoever. He wasn’t really able to answer any of my questions, very vague, and completely lacked interest. However, I will give him credit for pointing out where more of the “blue gray” color sample section is. I was less than impressed with the service and we will not be returning to this location. It was a waste of time.
I was in the store with my husband a few weeks ago. Nick was the only one working, it was almost time to close, and there were a lot of other people waiting to be helped. Nick answered all of our questions and provided excellent customer service while managing to help everyone else at the same time. We will be coming back!
I went to this location today, November 13 at 5:30pm. I was the only customer in the store. The 2 people behind the counter could not interrupt their conversation to even offer a greeting or ask if I needed assistance. That’s such poor customer service.
The paint quality is better than the big box stores, as it shows little to no brush marks and goes on smooth. They're lacquer is top quality for kitchen cabs
