Story

Established in 1984, Shiatsu Therapists of Hawaii, is a family owned & operated massage therapy clinic founded by Steven Sugai LMT (MAT-1392). We are Hawaii's experts in combining the most effective application of Shiatsu acupressure massage & Kinesio Taping for delivering results in pain relief and healing. The clinic has grown over the years to include Steve's children, Jonathan (MAT-6298), Joelle (MAT-10176), and Steve's wife Amy.

The Sugai family have practiced, perfected, and modernized the combination of Shiatsu for relieving pain and repairing soft tissue injuries with Kinesio Taping to further enhance the effects. The result is a combination of the most effective modalities, treatment methods & protocols that address more accurately address the causes of soft tissue pain & injuries for our clients. They are highly experienced and routinely treat and resolve common problems such as stiff necks & shoulders to acute low back pain & sports injuries.
