not payment accounting is a ghost in this company. we did car from ME to TX. 2 month ago. first it was cod then it switch to invoice. at that time there rating score was 100% but closer to new years up to 15 negative ratings score for non-payment. and for 2 months all we hear about ghostly lady in account that she will call back, 1 we got her she was so nice to speak to, apologies took our bank info telling shes on the way to bank to pay, well that is the last we heard of her.
We have been transporting cars for Advectus Transport, they do not pay their bills. We are forced to go back to the owner of the vehicle to collect payment. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I called and spoke to owner. He promised to next day send check with two day delivery. Its been a week and no check.
Do not use this company! Horrible communication! We had them move 2 cars across the country at the beginning of the year and they lost them for a month and stopped even giving us updates on trying to find our cars. When they finally found them one of the cars had clearly been driven and abused with plates stolen. We had to rent a car for much longer than we had planned to which cost a good deal of money! Scott LaForge was our rep and after countless attempts to contact him, he finally responded by email agreeing to cover some of our rental car costs, but it appears it was only to get us off his back because it's been 5 months and no check has arrived. Wish I had read the Google reviews before using this company!
I would like to start off by saying, that my personal Rep Anthony, was good. He was responsive, communicative and took care of me when I needed. However, the company he works for is terrible. I would not use this company to ship your vehicle, especially to PR. When I arrived to the receiving company, they told me that they will not release their car because they had to freeze Avectus' line of credit because of a previous non-payment. It took multiple phone calls and 4 hours to resolve this. Not to mention the fear that my car would be stuck or I would have to pay the shipping company myself to get the car released. Not once did they try to make this right. Again, Anthony...good guy. He was willing to do what it takes to resolve the issue...DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They apparently don't pay on time and your goods may be held hostage .
Transport Companies Beware! They DO NOT PAY the transporters once the delivery has been made. We are over 30 days past due now and they just stopped answering the phone. No response to emails and no response to negative rating on Central Dispatch. . . They just went MIA and ignored all options to clear up their past due invoices. Now I have to go thru the stress of dealing with collection agencies with them. : I wish I could give them negative stars
I really wish I could give less than one star for this company. If you are a VA employee looking at this review before shipping your car. I urge you to take the time to drive it or ask the VA for another company. This company is terrible!!!!!! The employees are terrible. There was no communication and I had to pay out of my own pocket for a rental car and rental insurance. The car was taken on dec 25th and after over 20 phone calls and a trip back to California. I received my car on Feb 5th. In the meantime I am out over 2000 dollars and they still have not reimbursed me. I urge the government and all government employees to find a new company. This company is honestly the worst. My car is damaged and it appears to be gone through. If I do another VA move I will be towing or driving my own car. If I hear one of my coworkers are moving I will be telling them my story and suggest they ask for another company or do their own shipment. It would have cost me less to drive or to sell and buy a new car.
What I recommend to all transporters is not ask anymore for payment, only find cars they are posting, select one and keep it. They will call you for the status and you will ask for the late payment, a fee for late payment and in advance payment for the car you have. That's the best all of you can do. Good look guys, and please do not forget tell us about the success in keeping some load for this infamous Advectus.
They moved my Seat 600D from Spain. I bought $10,000 insurance coverage. The damage to my car was estimated $648. I was told $250 was all they covered. I have proof the damage was not there, when they picked it up. I have not seen one penny!! They never even responded to the Better Business Bureau.

The VA uses this company for relocating employees. They are basically a middle man that contracts with companies to move household goods and vehicles. Long story short my household goods were not all delivered at the same time but rather two weeks apart. Furthermore, my vehicle was damaged by a sub of a contractor that they hired. The contractor Advectus refused my claim. This is ridiculous because my car was inspected when it was picked up and noted no damage.on the drivers side bumper on my car. Flash forward and when the car was delivered to me the driver inspection at that time showed damage to the front drivers side bumper. It is very interesting that the pick up inspection and the delivery inspection do not match and Advectus has the audacity to deny my claim. The worst part is that RMW holds this government contract and has been of zero assistance and have allowed this to happen. They don’t deserve it and their performance should be re-evaluated. They are not doing a great job at managing anything. I expect Mr. Laforge from Advectus to respond to this review with a weak comment just as he did on the other customer complaint that I saw on google. Advectus seems to have a track record of just denying claims.
