Shorewood Library

One of the cutest libraries I have been too! I love the ample parking that they provide for people. I also love the fact they have a whole section for kids to get books, read, use computers, and be kids! I also love the fact they have numerous tables for people to do work at or read a book they grabbed. I have always driven past here in the few years I have lived in Milwaukee and I am so happy I finally stopped in!

Great library! Plenty of spaces to work on a laptop, and good book selection; if they don’t have what you want you can request books to be sent there from other Milwaukee libraries. The holds shelf is self-serve and they have self-checkout which is nice, but the librarians are also always willing to help if you need. Another great thing is they have curbside pickup, and good bike racks - lots of ways to pick up your books.

Quiet, peaceful, and clean couldn't ask for a better place to study.

Don’t get me wrong I love coming to the library by myself, I usually have an enjoyable time, but when i’m there with the kids I babysit things are different. The woman who was working in the children section, was very rude to them. I mean they were only four and five, and she was belittling them. I for sure won’t go back with them.

A perfect library and perfect location! The books stacks are spaciously placed, with new/highlighted selections very easy to browse, check-out is amazingly fast & easy, and the staff is very helpful. Thank you! I can't wait to come back.

The Children's Play Area is open again!!!!

Don’t work on group projects here, they only have two or one person spaces. The librarians were actually quite rude and condescending. They have a decent book section tho, but from my perspective this id fs pick somewhere else to work. not worth it.

I like this library because it's close to my house and just a short walk away. I can order books from other libraries and pick them up here too. Plus there's lots of books on the shelves to read. There is a copy machine to use when you need it. And the librarian has helped me find books on my list too when I couldn't locate them on the shelf because I looked in the wrong spot. The librarian will also order books for you if you don't know how. The staff is friendly. At the moment you can spend only an hour inside but that's more than I need to pick out a few books.

One of the greatest little libraries in the Milwaukee county area. Staff is incredibly nice, and very helpful. The family learning center is a great resource for parents with young ones. Over all its a great library for children and adults. Very clean and comfortable environment. A safe place for your kids to go after school. The library should be proud of the environment They have created. The library calendar is full of events and activities for all ages. My kids and I are there AT LEAST once a week. Really, just a great place.
